1.0 out of 5 stars BEWARE: Caused my Kindle DX to lockup and crash! January 24, 2012
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
I looked forward to reading all seven volumes, but found that all of them caused my Kindle DX to lockup. I was able to reboot the Kindle by holding down the start switch, so no permanent damage was done. However, I have been unable to read anything but the first page, upon which the Kindle freezes.

2.0 out of 5 stars Dated October 29, 2011

This is a review of the free Kindle version.

Sometimes when you read an old book (thanks Kindle!), you find an absolute gem. Other times you find a dated work that just isn't relevant.

It's hard to read about an ancient civilization when the author primarily tries to relate them back to the Bible. Now, if this was about the Israelites, that would make sense to me, but Chaldea? Just doesn't work.

Illustrations don't work, but I didn't expect them to.

This volume as well as the other volumes should be in the library of every student of history. Many facts are packed these volumes. I wish I could have found them earlier than I did.

They have not discovered the kingdom of the Ancient Chattopadhyaya's in central southern India, the seven sacred hills and the great triangle. What is now known as Katpadi is the gateway to the secret Kingdom. Work Cartbody is a corruption of the above name. Even now millions of Indian pilgrims go there and cut off all their hair leaving it to be stuffed into pillows and mattresses. Sometimes they even make wigs, and little dolls for kids to play with with realistic hair.... so as you pack up that sausage shaped bag and head for Tirupati remember this... leave your hair there! It is a great spiritual cleansing.
