now this cd is not like the more recent lifetime cds in Hello bastards or Jerseys best dancers. it is more raw and less punk and more hardcore. its not as hardcore as background but is more hardcore than there last 2 efforts. very fast and emotional with great song writing. its really too bad that they broke up

Weak singer ruins it.,

I've always thought this band had great music and a weak singer. I keep trying to listen to them but just can't get over it (like 15 years now). This CD is of course an Emo band but the music still has that hardcore sound that emo bands gradually lost as they become more winey alternative. Music is great and with the right singer could have been an awesome band. But to me it sounds like the singer puts nothing into it. Especially when he tries to hold a note. He sounds like he is pausing in a conversation while thinking about what he wants to say next. 4 or 5 stars with a good singer...
