Recent divorcee Brenna Cayton has spent years behind the reception desk of an indie record label when her boss offers her the opportunity of a lifetime - go to Vegas and absorb as much knowledge about the A&R business from the resident expert Damon Andros. In turn she will get his job if he causes the label any more grief due to his sexual shenanigans. After donning sexy outer and underwear, she captures more than Damon's eye and the two go on a weeklong odyssey of sex, more sex, and rock & roll. But soon Brenna's feelings toward Damon are turning to more than lust, and she cannot bear to have him find out about her deception.

One thing you can count on with a Lacey Alexander novel is the lusty passion she brings to her stories. But unlike so many erotically charged novels, her stories have an actual plot that is just as interesting as the couplings (which I refer to as "eroplotica"). While the sex is over the top at times, she keeps her characters grounded and reader's interests piqued.

(VINE VOICE)    (TOP 500 REVIEWER)    (REAL NAME)
This review is from: Seven Nights of Sin (Mass Market Paperback)
A promotion to the much coveted position of Artist and Repertoire Representative at indie label Blue Night Records should have been the stuff dreams are made of, and it would have been - if it didn't involve Brenna Cayton in the deception of co-worker and man-of-her-dreams, Damon Andros.

For the next seven days and nights, she will experience Las Vegas with the sexy Damon as he trains her for the new job, never suspecting his own is at risk due to his well-publicized sexual exploits and bad-boy ways.

The decadent setting of Las Vegas paired with the potent sexuality that Damon exudes overwhelm Brenna's senses, drawing out the wanton woman that has been hidden deep inside just waiting for the right man to come along. Damon is more than willing to help Brenna explore her new boundaries, or rather the lack of them, as they embark together on a sensual journey that will change their lives forever.

As their relationship turns from co-workers to lovers and then to something even deeper, Brenna finds the ruse she has been forced to perpetrate more and more distasteful, knowing that this secret has the potential to destroy her relationship with Damon.

Yowza! That's my first thought upon finishing the oh-so-steamy Seven Nights of Sin by Lacey Alexander. This book is so hot, I'm surprised the ink doesn't melt right off the pages. Of course, that should come as no surprise to readers who are already fans of this talented author. Lacey Alexander has certainly built a reputation for penning some fantastic romantic kink, as I like to think of it.

And that is exactly what Seven Nights of Sin is - romantic kink. The sex is downright dirty and wonderfully wild, but through it all we definitely have a true romance. Ms. Alexander certainly knows how to push her readers' sensual buttons, all while weaving an poignant story of love that will ultimately leave you as satisfied, if not more, than the sex scenes do.

As Brenna and Damon become involved, each discovers something new and unexpected about themselves as they learn more about each other. Bad boy Damon finds that for all his wild ways, he wants to share them with only one woman for the rest of his life, although commitment was certainly not in his plans for the future. Prim and proper Brenna realizes she has a libido to match and perhaps even rival that of the infamous Damon.

As the story draws to a close, the unthinkable happens, as is wont to happen in any good tale - Damon discovers the secret that Brenna has kept from him, albeit not by her choice. Predictably, the revelation drives him from her, and the couple experiences even more growth during their separation. These new self-discoveries concerning their dreams and their careers are the perfect catalyst to bring them back together with a stronger foundation for their relationship that is bound to survive any obstacle their future together may hold.

For an intense ride through the most carnal indulgences in Las Vegas experienced through the eyes of a pair of passionate and uninhibited lovers, pick up your own copy of Seven Nights of Sin right away! But be warned: this story is sure to stir both your most erotic fantasies and your most romantic dreams!

Brenna Cayton is completely shocked when her boss at Blue Night records has a proposition for her. He wants to take her from her job as his assistant and make her an A&R Rep, but there is a catch. She has to start immediately, meet the other rep, Damon Andros, in Vegas, and learn everything she can from him because she is being groomed to take his place. He has been accused of forcing a female singer to sleep with him as the only way to get a contract with Blue Night, and she is getting close to filing charges. Brenna is supposed to be able to take his place when that happens, as the label cannot afford to be associated with him any longer. While she is excited by this new prospect, another part of her is disheartened because there is nothing she hates more than lies. She had enough of them from her ex-husband.

Brenna had seen Damon several times, and was dumbstruck each time by his physical beauty. He was so much more than handsome; he was what naughty dreams are made of. She wasn't sure she could be around him without him knowing how he affected her. So, she packed up her new hair color, new clothes, and headed to meet him in Vegas. Brenna was not prepared to see him in action. Damon did have a gift. He was good with people, and also knew exactly what he was doing. She only hoped to be half as good. After only spending a few hours together, when she realized that she seemed to affect him as he did her, you could have knocked her over with a feather. Knowing he didn't do relationships, she knew she would have to make do with their time together in Sin City. As they spent more and more time together, Brenna found herself wanting to experience everything with Damon pushing herself beyond all boundaries.

Pretty good weekend read. The erotic play was well written, but the story was lacking, and not very plausible. The author really expected the reader to believe an admin assistant could take the place of a seasoned agent in the span of a week? Not believable by any stretch of the imagination. Overall an enjoyable book, but not a keeper. Warning - there is FFM as well as MFM.

3.0 out of 5 stars Sinful indeed, September 24, 2011

This review is from: Seven Nights of Sin (Mass Market Paperback)
This would have been a 4 star read for me, but it just took too long to get going.....about 50 pages or so. The sex scenes and there were a ton of them just got better and better as each day of sin went by. The erotic level was really high, and Brenna and Damon had a couple juicy 3somes to add to the sexy vibe of the book. Parts of the actual story telling was good, but lots was very repetitive since Brenna and Damon were doin their job ever night. Really only 2 of those nigh were relevant so I thought most of the others could have been edited down. Overall this was an entertaining read, and if you are into erotica this is a good read for you.

I loved this book. Received it today, finished it within a few hours. Damon is a guy I would love to have. He's animalistic, bringing out Brenna's wild side in Las Vegas. Their sexual heat and adventures are so Hot, I'm jealous. Many women wouldn't dare admit to having certain fantasies, never mind live them out. I have some wild fantasies, but feel to conscious about my body and self. This book makes me want to go to Las Vegas now and maybe get wild there with my boyfriend.
Lacey Alexander knows how to write. I love her books!!! She can make it so steamy and puts you where the action is. Makes the imagination run wild. Thanks, Lacey. At least this author doesn't make everything a "sin." Women can have and live out our fantasies without feeling ashamed or bad.

4.0 out of 5 stars 4.5 stars for "Seven Nights of Sin"., May 25, 2010
This review is from: Seven Nights of Sin (Paperback)
I thoroughly enjoyed this book. It was kinky and hot! In my opinion the book lacked romance. It had a touch of romance but the characters were void of an emotional build. However, keep in mind, this is an erotica book. The scenes were super naughty with a good strong storyline! Lacey Alexander also uses the C word frequently. I don't mind that particular word but it might turn some women off.

Lacey Alexander also does an excellent job depicting Las Vegas. Her descriptions are really accurate. Makes me wonder if those types of clubs she mentions in her book really does exists. It also made me want to hop in my car and take a trip to Vegas. After I finished the book, I was a little disappointed because it ended. I wish it was "9 Nights of Sin". I highly recommend this book for those who enjoy a good erotic read.

5.0 out of 5 stars Phenomenal, May 24, 2010
This is one of the best books I've read in a while. I love Lacey Alexander's books and this one doesn't disappoint. The sex scenes were adventurous, original and hot. The characters were as colorful as the gorgeous cover and I loved the power exchange between the Brenna and her man... especially later in the story. Can't wait to tackle the next one of her books in my TBR pile.

Brenna Cayton has no desire to have a man in her life, having been burned by her ex, she is just fine flying solo, or so she keeps telling herself. When her boss offers her a promotion to replace the current talent scout, she all but jumps at the chance to move up. Traveling to Vegas to learn the ropes of the music industry from the best, Damon Andros, who ignites a fire she cannot resist, hoping not to get burned by her own guilt.

Damon Andros is the hottest man in the music industry. He is known for his knack signing the hottest new acts in music, while enjoying life to the fullest. Such a lifestyle is making him more of a liability for the company than what his boss is willing to put up with. When he is asked to train Brenna, he agrees to take her under his wing.

Soon both Brenna and Damon cave to the undeniably hot passion which has flared between them. They are determined to fullfill their wildest fantasies in their seven sensual nights together. What will happen once Damon learns of her deception?

SEVEN NIGHTS OF SIN is a combustible tale of searing passion. The chemistry between Brenna and Damon scorches the pages, this tale is so hot that you will need a fan to cool you down. I loved Brenna's vulnerability, and watching her struggle to be open with her desires with Damon. And you can't help but fall in love with Damon, as you see him for the man he is. He is such a sweetheart! I loved following them along as they explored and indulged in their fantasies. More than the sexual chemistry between Brenna and Damon, I loved the emotional journey they traveled, I just wanted to cry when Damon discovered Brenna's betrayal, but was well satisfied how everything was worked out.

5.0 out of 5 stars A fantastic erotic romance, April 8, 2008
This review is from: Seven Nights of Sin (Mass Market Paperback)

Seven Nights of Sin by Lacey Alexander is a fantastic erotic romance. I love all her books but this one was truly special. I can honestly say it was my favorite erotic romance I've ever read. Lacey has a one of a kind ability not only to write scortch the pages erotic scenes but she also brings an emotion to her books that I don't always get in my erotic romance. Her heroine's truly find themselves in her books. Even though they're doing outrageous, wild things that I've never done, I feel like I'm finding myself along with them. As women we are made to feel guilty or easy if we enjoy our sexuality. Lacey Alexander books remind us that there is nothing wrong with exploring our sexuality and enjoying it, even if it is just by experiencing the growth with the heroine and not actually on our own, I still believe we're gaining freedom to desire, dream and enjoy our sexuality and femininity when we crack open a Lacey Alexander book. And I never feel like her books are just empty sex. There is always emotion attached even though it isn't love from the onset. You connect with her heroine's and fall in love with her heros. Do yourself a favor and pick up this book. It's a sin not too!
