Beth Curtis adored Connor Riordan, her brother's best friend. She had been secretly in love with him for years. Once, Connor and Beth give into an unexpected moment of passion. Now they are forced to share a house while Beth's brother is on his honeymoon. Connor is determined to use this opportunity to get Beth to forgive him so that they can return to the friendship they had before that night. However, Connor never expects to find that the passion between them is stronger than ever. He quickly discovers that friendship is the last thing he wants from Beth. But can he convince her to forgive him for the mess he made of things in the past and take a chance on him?


I have to say that I am loving Heidi Betts! She is quickly becoming my favorite Silhouette author. Seven Year Seduction is the perfect quick romance fix! Both Connor and Beth have to face the past before they can work on the future, giving the story a great deal of emotional depth. The passion that burns between them makes for scintillating love scenes. Readers of contemporary romance will most definitely find themselves satisfied by Seven Year Seduction.

Connor made a mistake by not contacting Beth after their night together. Beth was angry, miserable for years because of it and the consequences of that night. She comes home for her brother's wedding after avoiding coming home because didn't want to run into Connor. Connor is all hot for her right off the bat - even though he's attending the wedding with his girlfriend of 6 years, live-in for 3. Now that "the one" is back he doesn't seem to have any problem getting over the girlfriend super quick - avoids talking to her. That came off very jerk-like besides his past sins.

I normally like Heidi's books but this one didn't do it for me.
