5.0 out of 5 stars Great jeans, cute tank too!
I just got my jeans today, what a deal on sale! I was surprised to find that not only did I get my jeans, they also came with a free white tank top included. The tank is pictured in the thumbnails, says "Seven7" on it. So that was a nice little bonus!

Jeans are great, I love the wash, a medium color, and they are very soft and comfy due to the 98/2 mix...

1.0 out of 5 stars No, thanks
The description for this item says, "dark indigo denim," but they are not dark. They have that faded dingy dirtly look. I personally can't abide that. They seem true to size, but they are LOOOOOW. If I had known that, I would not have ordered them. If you like showing your behind when you sit, you'll just love these. Since I had to return the lousy things, I didn't...

I just got my jeans today, what a deal on sale! I was surprised to find that not only did I get my jeans, they also came with a free white tank top included. The tank is pictured in the thumbnails, says "Seven7" on it. So that was a nice little bonus!

Jeans are great, I love the wash, a medium color, and they are very soft and comfy due to the 98/2 mix. They are low rise, but not ridiculously low like some brands. I would say these are pretty true to size; they are stretchy, so sometimes going a size smaller than you would with non-stretch jeans works better. I did not heed that advice, since I've never had Seven7 before, but if I ordered again I'd buy one size smaller in the stretch fabrics.

Anyway, I love the jeans, tank, and the incredible price! Highly recommended.

4.0 out of 5 stars Lane Bryant Employee, March 13, 2006
This review is from: Seven7jeans Women's Stretch Denim Flare Jean (Apparel)
I see there is a lot of confusion concerning the Seven7 brand of denim. I thought I would clear up a few things since people are too lazy to do an internet search for Seven7. The brand that Lane Bryant is affiliated with has never posed itself to be a part of Seven for All Mankind-often refered to as "Sevens" in popular media. The brand Seven7 has existed for 30+ years as a European retailer where as Seven for All Mankind has existed for about 3 years.

As far as the Amazon pricing is concerned, I am not sure how it is accomplished as the jean retails through Lane Bryant for between $79.50-$129.50. Hope this clears up the confusion.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great fitting jeans for a very LOW price!, June 21, 2005
This review is from: Seven7jeans Women's Stretch Denim Flare Jean (Apparel)
I like these jeans for the low price! It's so stupid to spend hundreds of dollars for jeans just so people can see that you bought a certain brand. I do have more expensive jeans but these are a great fit for a low price!!!!

There seems to be some confusion here. Seven for All Mankind is the copycat brand that ripped off Seven7. Seven7 came first, and it came from France and was mostly an east coast US thing for a while. They've recently broken into the west coast but Seven for All Mankind blocked them.

Seven for all mankind has been successfully sued for this business practice.

5.0 out of 5 stars 7 for All Mankind the copycat, July 10, 2005
This review is from: Seven7jeans Women's Stretch Denim Flare Jean (Apparel)
While the folks at 7 for All Mankind sued Express/Lane Bryant for the Seven7 brand, it did not get very far. I guess the boys at 7faMK were so offended that their name may be associated with Lane Bryant that they didn't do their homework and find out they would be suing a brand name that is about 30 years their senior.

The suit was quietly dropped...guess they did not want to be countersued as they would lose, and lose huge. Seven7 has been around since the 60s-70s.

Found the Mankind jeans totally overrated..not only won't you fit if you are over a size 8, if you have anything but bird legs, you won't get into them.

5.0 out of 5 stars extremely comfortable and flattering, March 6, 2005
This review is from: Seven7jeans Women's Stretch Denim Flare Jean (Apparel)
These jeans have just the right amount of stretch, are true to size, and are super comfortable. Like the one star review says, they are not dark but are a faded dark denim that gives a sense of vertical lines making your legs look longer. The product description says that they are just below the waste, which is not accurate, but my crack doesn't show as long as I wear a belt, and the waste is slightly higher than many of seven's jeans. These are my new favorite jeans!

It just looks pretty ordinary, probably okay.

The pockets and stitching are not as flattering as Levi's. For $50, I'll get two pairs (almost) of truly dark demin Levi's instead and spare the public a scary rearview.

1.0 out of 5 stars These Are A Farce!!!, March 7, 2005
This review is from: Seven7jeans Women's Stretch Denim Flare Jean (Apparel)
When you order these jeans, you are led to believe that they are manufactured by "Seven Jeans" (as seen in finer department and specialty stores). THEY ARE NOT!!! They are not made by "Seven for all Mankind", do not resemble SFAM jeans and are made in China. I am very disappointed. This is clearly deceptive. They are cheap imitations that have the word "Seven" printed on them. Buyer Beware!!!!

1.0 out of 5 stars THESE ARE NOT 7 For All Mankind Jeans! FAKES., March 17, 2005
This review is from: Seven7jeans Women's Stretch Denim Flare Jean (Apparel)
these are NOT 7 for all mankind jeans if that's what you are looking for - those jeans go for $125-200 a piece. the people who make these came up with their "similar" name to trick you into buying them - they probably figure its a numbers game and "some" will just keep them.. dont be fooled - if youre looking for real 7's - go to eluxury.com and you'll find them there.
