4.0 out of 5 stars Better Than 'Shake It', October 15, 2008
By
This review is from: Seventeen Forever (MP3 Download)
No, this won't be as big of a hit as 'Shake It', but, in my opinion, it's much better.

It still has that upbeat, catchy, danceable, disco-ish, drum machine-like groove character to it, but it's much more musical and melodic...there's actually even a part where the music drops out and there's just singing...
of course, it goes back to the regular chorus and the beat goes on...

It may sound like I'm dissing this song, but actually I really do like it.
It's just that, for me, 'Shake It' got so old so fast that it kind of drives me insane. I can't see that happening with this song, because, even though the chorus is repeated like six or seven times (which means, yes...it will get stuck in your brain and won't find its way out), at least the chorus has a melody, and a good one at that.
