4.0 out of 5 stars Worth it!
My daughter and I were asked to participate in a test group for Seventh Generation before these diapers were available for purchase. I have not purchased any since because I haven't been able to find them, however, when we used the package Seventh Generation sent us we had no issues with them. I actually thought that they fit her better than Huggies or Pampers brand...

2.0 out of 5 stars Very Unsatisfied w/ product
I purchased these even after reading the reviews. My son has very sensitive skin and I thought the chlorine free would be good for him. Simply put: They leak. I have a 4 yr old and a 2 yr old and have used many different diapers/pull-ups from pampers to store brand and have never been so disapointed in a product.

This review is from: Seventh Generation Chlorine Free Training Pants, 2T-3T, (26-34 Lbs), 29 Count (Pack of 4) (Health and Beauty)
My daughter and I were asked to participate in a test group for Seventh Generation before these diapers were available for purchase. I have not purchased any since because I haven't been able to find them, however, when we used the package Seventh Generation sent us we had no issues with them. I actually thought that they fit her better than Huggies or Pampers brand training pants and I really value the chlorine-free aspect. We have used Seventh Generation diapers for about a year now and my daughter's skin is far less irritated than it was with the regular diapers. I tried switching back to Huggies and Pampers and her skin became irritated almost immediately. The Seventh Generation training pants are really not any more expensive than the other brands. We didn't have any problems with them leaking, I have found that the regular diapers do leak more often than other brands but I solved that problem by going up a size and changing her more frequently. All in all, these training pants are a good buy.

These training pants work at least as well as Easy Ups and are better than Pull Ups at holding in messes. All that and good for the planet, too. They are chlorine and dye free and don't have that funny ink smell that a lot of training pants do. Try the Seventh Generation wipes, too.

4.0 out of 5 stars Good product, could make minor improvements, July 20, 2009

I have been using the 7th generation diapers since my son was about six months old and have generally been happy with them. I do wish they printed the size on the diapers. It would make it much easier to tell whether the ones you have stashed in diaper bags, at grandma's house, etc. are the right size or not. For now, we only have used this one size of pull-ups, but as we switch to the next size we'll have the same problem. Unlike the diapers, which are completely plain, the pull-ups have a design printed on them so that you can distinguish the front from the back so it would be very easy to add the size.

The other improvement that could be made to the pull-ups is to have tabs so that it's easier to remove a poopy diaper. We either cut it off or rip the seams, but other pull up brands have tabs like a diaper to make removal easier. Tabs would also make putting it on easier (esp in public places) because you wouldn't have to remove pants and shoes, just pull the pants down.

That said, I am generally pleased with these pull-ups and will continue to use them until we are successful with potty training.

My two-year-old doesn't seem to notice that Diego or Danny Phantom aren't on the front of these. In fact, the back of them is clearly labeled "BACK," which keeps us from putting them on backwards by mistake, and they have a tree on the front, which helps him put them on right. For us, they leak less than the equivalent Pampers or Huggies, and they're not bleached, so you're keeping a little dioxin out of the environment by buying them.

5.0 out of 5 stars No more diaper rash!, January 3, 2008

When my daughter was ready to start potty training, I got her some big name brand training pants and she started to get horrible diaper rashes, even though she was rarely wearing them wet and then only for short periods of time. She had always worn Seventh Generation diapers before, so I was SO HAPPY to see that they're making training pants now. She's young and tiny so I wouldn't mind a smaller size, but the 2t-3t works well enough on her tiny bum. The best part is NO MORE DIAPER RASH. I love Seventh Generation!

Ok - we're Seventh Generation junkies. We have used the diapers and training pants for our two boys. We've found that they are just as absorbent and hold up just as well as any other brand (and even better than many!). Yeah, they cost a little more than the national brands, but we believe that they are worth it.

Occasionally we have had issues with a single package where the tabs on the diapers rip off with the slightest tug. Amazon has always been very responsive in replacing those diapers right away.

My favorite thing about Seventh Generation Diapers and Pullups is that when they are wet, they don't stink like other diapers do. I have a sensitive sense of smell, and could practically smell my daughter a mile away when she was wearing the other type. These are very absorbent, environmentally responsible and GOOD DIAPERS. I also appreciate the more organic color-- not bleached white-- and the fact that they never have cartoon characters on them. We have these shipped regularly, and it is so easy!

I love Seventh Generation products. These training pants have good absorption and minimal decorations on them. My only complaint is that they don't have easy-open sides, so changing wet training pants in public is challenging as you have to remove the child's socks and pants in order to change him/her. There is always the option to change the child on the changing table, but it can be hard to get a child who enjoys using the toilet to cooperate on the changing table. It would be great if 7Gs training pants opened on the sides so parents don't have to undress thier toddlers from the waist down. Huggies Pull-Ups have great easy-open sides that still allow the child to pull the training pants up and down.

I've been using Seventh Generation diapers on my son for at least a year and a half and they were great. I saw the training pants at the store a couple months back and decided to give them a try. The cut is weird, too narrow. The sides would tear off while I was pulling them up! It really drove me crazy. I wasn't at all interested in using the other brands with pictures and chemicals all over them so I went back to cloth. I am thinking about getting another package of the training pants to see if they've been improved...
