5.0 out of 5 stars Just as good as Stayfree!
I took a chance on these cause I use other 7th gen products. I'm so glad I did cause these pads are really nice. They stick well and are absorbant. Overall very absorbant and comfortably thin. These regular are a bit short so if your flow is a little heavy I'd suggest going to the Super Longs.

1.0 out of 5 stars Green and Embarrassing!
I was very excited to try this product because of the trustworthy company who manufactured it and the fact that it didn't have chlorine, however I believe some additional testing and a revision of the current product is in order. The absorbency is fine for a light day, but for those of us who suffer from heavier periods, take my advice and don't rely on this pad! I've...

5.0 out of 5 stars Finally!, March 21, 2006
This review is from: Seventh Generation Chlorine Free Ultrathin Regular Pads, 18-count Packages (Pack of 12) (216 pads) (Health and Beauty)
I previously used Natracare brand. I love Seventh Generation because they have a better adhesive and they don't give me the wet feeling that the Natracare did. I feel like I have an overall better protection using Seventh Generatin.

5.0 out of 5 stars Soft comfey and worth buying!, January 19, 2007
This review is from: Seventh Generation Chlorine Free Ultrathin Regular Pads, 18-count Packages (Pack of 12) (216 pads) (Health and Beauty)
I admit, I was a little skeptical when I saw these on a shelf in Wild Oats. However last time I visited their website, I saw the Seventh Generation had a hard core menstruation forum going on to asssist their product development activities. I bought the pack to see how well they "listened"!
Now that I have worn these, I'll never go back to Always! If I'm going to have to pay over $4 bucks a box every month, these are worth the extra penny! These feel more like an extension of the underwear than plastic coated boats that I had been using! So soft, so comfortable, you forget you are wearing them!
Great job 7th Generation... now to buy and try the tampons!

4.0 out of 5 stars Good daytime pad, December 6, 2007
This review is from: Seventh Generation Chlorine Free Ultrathin Regular Pads, 18-count Packages (Pack of 12) (216 pads) (Health and Beauty)
The best feature of these pads is that they have a soft, cottony cover that doesn't irritate my bikini area the way Always' plastic-lined pads do. The price is great on Amazon with Subscribe and Save; I feel good about using products that are safer for my health as well as the environment; and they stay securely in place. Two things that could be improved: (1) the pads are a little stiff right out of the wrapper, so I bend them in half long-ways a couple of times and they're fine; (2) I wish the wrapper had a resealable sticky tape like Always does to make disposal easier and more sanitary. Also worth mentioning is that I did have a leakage problem when I wore it overnight -- so I suggest wearing the Ultra-Thin Overnight for that purpose. But I'm definitely sticking with these, and never going back again!!!

The absorbency is fine for a light day, but for those of us who suffer from heavier periods, take my advice and don't rely on this pad! I've never had an accident before using these, and the one I had in front of my friends was horrifying to say the least. I'd hate for anyone else to go through that, so please use caution with these pads. They are not absorbent enough and a bit on the short side of things. I also agree that the stickiness is sometimes too much and can leave permanent reminders.

5.0 out of 5 stars Wonderful product, August 14, 2007
This review is from: Seventh Generation Chlorine Free Ultrathin Regular Pads, 18-count Packages (Pack of 12) (216 pads) (Health and Beauty)
I am so thankful for this product:
Seventh Generation Chlorine Free Maxi Pads, Ultra Thin Regular, 18-Count Packages (Pack of 12)
At my age of 42 I had developed an allergy to feminine sanitary pads. I had tried to make some homemade ones to no avail! I researched and found these chlorine free ones, ordered them and am pleasantly surprised and elated! I would and will recommend them to any woman I know with sensitive skin! Thank you!

I preferred Always for years, but I actually prefer these now. They work great, they're comfortable, and I actually think they wick away moisture better than Always. I buy them by the case now because 1) I don't have to run to the store when I run out, 2) it's cheaper, and 3) i don't have to find a store that carries them, usually when I'm out of them and frustrated.

I developed an allergy to regular pads and panty liners, and these hypoallergenic ones have fixed the problem. They are great and have saved me a lot of pain and suffering! I have no complaints at all about these.

5.0 out of 5 stars Best pads I've ever used, June 4, 2010
This review is from: Seventh Generation Chlorine Free Ultrathin Regular Pads, 18-count Packages (Pack of 12) (216 pads) (Health and Beauty)
I have tried pretty much all brands of maxi pads and ended up settling with Always (the thin ones with the wings) for years. I never wanted to try seventh generation because I figured 'green' pads would not work as well or be totally bulky. I used seventh generation diapers on my daughter and ended up liking them, so I figured why not give the pads a shot. These thin pads are amazing. They are just as thin as the previous ones I used, but much more comfortable because the top (the part that touches you) feels like you are wearing cotton underwear. They are amazing; wish I tried them years ago.

For half of my life I've relied on one brand of pads but a few years ago I switched to Seventh Generation for two reasons. First of all they are chlorine free which creates a safer work environment and keeps them hypoallergenic and safe for sensitive skin. Secondly, they work very well. I was surprised and expected an inferior product but nothing could be farther from the truth. They absorb very well, so well in fact that I'd wager they do a better job than you're used to! The adhesive is very strong and sure. For those wanting to go the extra eco-friendly route, research [...]
