5.0 out of 5 stars Good stuff - don't know what A. Bauman is talking about
I have used various scents of Seventh Generation dish soap for the last few years, and the stuff has been great. The previous reviewer either has no idea of what she is talking about, or has posted her review on the wrong product website. I have used various scents of Seventh Generation dish soap for the last few years, and the stuff has been great. The previous reviewer either has no idea of what she is talking about, or has posted her review on the wrong product website. This stuff actually leaves LESS of a soapy film on both hands and dishes than big brand detergents such as Dawn and Palmolive. It is gentler on your hands and easier to rinse off. All this, and it cleans as well as any dish soap I've ever used. It smells pleasant, but not in the overpowering and artificial perfumy way that the standard brands usually smell. You can't go wrong with this, and you'll be doing the evironment a favor by buying a fully biodegradable soap. Highly recommended!

5.0 out of 5 stars There's no reason not to use it, March 15, 2007

This product is all pros and no cons. I've been using it for the past year and just finished bottle 6 of 12. The rest I'll share with friends and family since I've just placed a second order. The detergent is gentle, effective, pleasant to use, and Earth-friendly all at the same time. There's absolutely no drawback.

5.0 out of 5 stars Dishwashing Bliss, September 28, 2007

Let's face it....who the heck can get excited about facing a sink full of dishes? But it's a whole lot easier when you use any of the Seventh Generation dishwashing products. Being plant based also creates a few unexpected benefits. It's very mild on your skin yet cleans even the greasiest pans well. It's low suddings which helps in the rinsing process. Besides, we like to think that all those bubbles are scrubbing and cleaning when we really know their not. And last but not least, since it's not petrolium based it's a whole lot easier once it enters our drains and municipal water systems. My sister lives in a more rural area and she swears by this stuff for septic systems. I was not an easy convert to this line of products, but now it's about all I ever use.

We buy products by the case when they are quality so we don't run out, have to get to a store for an inferior product which is any product that is harmful to the planet. Seventh Generation is the best of the dishwashing soaps and the best for the planet.

5.0 out of 5 stars Squeaky clean and citrus fresh, August 11, 2007

I love this dish liquid. I've not seen a single spot on any glass or dish and the soap rinses clean away. The citrus scent is refreshing and very light. I use a little more than I would with a regular dish liquid, but it's worth the switch!

This dish soap works well on my dishes and cookware. And the scent is nice but not too strong-more natural. It works well on grease when the water is all but cold. This dish soap is gentle on my hands. A BIG plus! I would buy this product again!!!

5.0 out of 5 stars Not bad!, January 4, 2008
This review is from: Seventh Generation Liquid Dish Detergent, Lemongrass & Clementine Zest Scent, 25-Ounce Bottles (Pack of 12) (Health and Beauty)
So far, I am very pleased with the product. It rinses more easily than regular detergent, which can be good -you rinse faster- and bad -you need to use more than reg. det. But overall, it works well.

I've been using this product for over a year and have been very happy with its performance. It gets my dishes just as clean as any previous liquid I've used. For really baked-on, stuck-on dishes, I allow them to soak for a few hours (or overnight) and cleaning up with a little scrub sponge is a cinch. Overall, I think it's a great product that is better for the environment as well.
