4.0 out of 5 stars Good Value
Earth friendly recycled content -- pretty cost effective when purchasing in this quantity.

2.0 out of 5 stars Quality tissue, no quality control
The tissue itself is fine, and the price and convenience of having it in bulk is great. Unfortunately, the quality control is not the best. The design of the tissues and box is supposed to bring the next tissue out after you take the top one. Starting a third of the way through each box, the tissues no longer pull the next one up so you are left digging in the box...

5.0 out of 5 stars Seventh Generation, January 19, 2007
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Seventh Generation Facial Tissue, 2-Ply Sheets, 175-Count Boxes (Pack of 36) (Health and Beauty)
I'm thrilled to buy from a company that uses environmentally responsible production processes and so conscientiously completes the recycling loop by making quality products from recycled materials. The facial tissue is probably not the thickest or softest product on the market but it is as soft and absorbent as most and excellent for everyday use.

5.0 out of 5 stars Do good to our planet & save many trees, March 16, 2008
By
Nat (New England) - See all my reviews
If every household in the United States replaced just one box of virgin fiber facial tissues (175 sheets) with 100% recycled ones, we could save 163,000 trees...They aren't kleenex, but if so, why not get better faster & do good for the environment? You'll get used to the fact that the environment won't get pollute & your nose won't get toxic chemical to make it feel good. Use cream (good stuff) & get better! It feels good to use Seventh Generation, & you do good for the enviroment. Sign up for the re-order program, & you'll feel even better. At $1.42 a box, it's a bargain! Love you Amazon!

2.0 out of 5 stars Quality tissue, no quality control, March 16, 2008

The tissue itself is fine, and the price and convenience of having it in bulk is great. Unfortunately, the quality control is not the best. The design of the tissues and box is supposed to bring the next tissue out after you take the top one. Starting a third of the way through each box, the tissues no longer pull the next one up so you are left digging in the box trying to find the edge of the next tissue! Then of course you end up grabbing 3-4, and either wasting them or shoving them back in the box. I'm two-thirds of the way through a case and EVERY box had this problem.

Perhaps it's just the one case, but maybe not. I'll update if we end up trying another case.

2.0 out of 5 stars Misleading information - read the fine print, October 20, 2007
By

This review is from: Seventh Generation Facial Tissue, 2-Ply Sheets, 175-Count Boxes (Pack of 36) (Health and Beauty)
The tissue is advertised on Amazon as having a minimum of 80% post consumer recycled (P.C.R.) content. The product I received, however, states that while the box is 85% P.C.R., the tissue itself is only 20% P.C.R. This is pretty lame, I must say.

Also, it doesn't come in the cool box displayed online with the green tree, but some strange 'cloudish' design that looks like it is from the 1980's or something.

If 7th Gen. has changed the product, they should take the time to make sure that the resellers advertise with the most up to date info - shame on them.

It may be unfair to compare this to brands which use strong chemicals to soften the tissue, but if you're looking for soft, this isn't the place to go. It does do the job but the surface of the tissue feels much more like paper than cotton. I may continue to use it just to be more green but I do wish it were a little fluffier.

great product, because it is made from recycled products..a bit difficult to get out of the box..and somewhat harsh..but it is recycled...and that is all that counts right now....

5.0 out of 5 stars Great, November 18, 2007
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
If I am going to use disposable products I want to use something that is kinder to the environment. And Seventh Generation products do it. These tissues are good. The are strong. They could be a little harsh to the skin. I have very sensitive skin but they haven't given me any problems.

4.0 out of 5 stars A great way to keep up with family with allergies and colds, January 9, 2007

Between seasonal allergies (that didn't stop because the warm weather didn't kill off all the molds and allergens) and colds -especially in the elder kin - buying by the case was a God-send over the holidays. I was very glad to have many boxes of good quality facial tissues on hand when I'd rather be Christmas shopping for the fun stuff!

5.0 out of 5 stars Great green product, October 30, 2008

These facial tissues work just fine for normal use. Keep a box of Puffs Plus stashed away for when you've got a cold or the flu, but the rest of the time, go green and use Seventh Generation recycled tissues!
