I really hoped that these 100% recycled paper towels would be something that I would like, and that they would be something that I would want to keep on buying. With all the waste that we add to the environment daily, this type of thing really matters to me... However, with this being said, I found that these paper towels were just much too thin, did not hold up well at all, and overall they underperformed when compared to most any other brand name paper towel. In fact, I found that I was having to use 2 or 3 times the amount of paper towels when using these when wiping up spills, cleaning, etc. because of the fact that the towels just kept tearing up and/or falling apart.
For the price of these, I would not recommend nor buy these again. I really hoped that I would have great luck using Seventh Generation paper towels as I do with their other products, but this time it just didn't happen.

We use alot of paper towel. Between our business and having a 16 month old we go through multiple cases a month. As such, I have been trying different brands trying to find the one that is the best quality and best value. I can tell you without hesitation this is NOT it. These paper towels are so weak. You cannot really clean more then a few drops of liquid. Saturating it with water causes it to disintegrate. Cleaning or scrubbing is out of the question as it cannot hold liquid or hold up to clean. As for using with children, the texture is so rough. I wouldn't put it on my son's delicate skin, or my own for that matter.
I think my experiment is complete. Bounty is the best. It absorbs. It is a more gentle texture and you don't have to use as much which in the end saves money. If something new comes along I will try that but until then, I guess I will stick to the tried and true.

Absorbancy is great compared to the 7th Generation Brown Paper Towels which required 6 or 7 towels to wipe up a spill. Still lacking Bounty Towels in absorbancy, yet completely doable. As napkins they are a match for Bounty. So, if you like paper towels, but don't want to clear-cut an entire forest, this is a wise choice. Price is very reasonable. The perforations allow smaller sheets if needed.
