Constructed from industrial-strength chromed plated steel, this handy file cart includes 2 adjustable shelves, 2 sliding mesh drawers, 1 removable grey polypropylene (PP) shelf inlay, and 2" grey commercial wheels (two locking). Each sliding mesh drawers measures 10.5" x 14.75" x 3.6"H and the ventilated steel wire shelves can be adjusted at one-inch intervals. The removable PP shelf inlay allows for the storage of small items. This conveniently mobile cart accommodates both letter and legal size hanging files and the bottom shelf can serve as a storage area or a printer stand. This is a nice cart, good weight, very sturdy, but be warned: I cut myself several times on the drawers and side pieces, including getting a half-inch long metal sliver in my hand. Be very cautious when putting this cart together, and don't let children mess with it!
However, I actually loved the design and how you can customize it. I just wish they had spent a little more time smoothing the metal edges and chrome finish.

I was looking for a printer stand to use in my closet and had a difficult time finding something the right size. This cart is perfect for use in a small space, but is large and sturdy enough to accommodate a printer/scanner/fax machine. The bins are a great size for storing supplies. The best part is how flexible the design of the cart is - you have three shelves (including the one that holds the bins) and can place them anywhere on the vertical legs that you'd like. It can also be made shorter by not using the extender legs and any of the shelves can be left out completely. Overall, a very well-made and well-designed cart for a great price!

I have put together similar products that have taken more than elbow grease to complete, so I was pleasantly surprised that this cart took me less than 10 minutes to assemble. Instructions were clear, no tools required (a rubber mallet was recommended if needed, but I didn't), and I didn't even come close to breaking a sweat.

The shelves fit on the poles easily and fit over the rubber shelf stoppers without more than a few firm taps of a fist. I didn't have to make any annoying adjustments to make sure things were level. What a relief.

File shelf fits letter hanging files perfectly (I don't have legal size so I can't comment on that). Drawers are a great plus, although there are no stoppers to keep you from pushing the drawer out the other end. Not a big deal since I keep this against a wall and don't use the drawers everyday. Wheel locks work well. Wheels are also rubber, not hollow plastic, so it rolls reliably without scratching wood floors.

I assembled this with the files on top, open shelf about 2/3 down and drawers/shelf on the very bottom.

Considering the cost of ugly and less functional plastic or cardboard file bins, this was a steal ($30 at the time of my purchase) -- especially with the free shipping.

Got two of these, the first one was welded improperly, don't be afraid to tell Amazon, they know it happens! So I got another one, and it's perfect for my art studio, WOW I love it! It was in pretty good condition, the wheels are so strong you can load it up with a ton of stuff and still roll it, not like the other chrome shelves of smaller proportions which have trouble moving when loaded. This shelf is so fantastic, it has two levels of height! I just put a thin but strong board over the top, and made it into a top shelf instead of a file shelf, for my table easel! It's the perfect size, I made it shorter, and my easel is just perfectly aligned with my office chair so I can use it to paint with, sitting right next to my computer, very cozy! It is small enough yet plenty of room and strength for my painting supplies, all of them! I am so tickled, finally a good art-station for my oil painting! I tell ya, artists, it's cheap, get it while the getting is good, it's a deal at thirty, wow! I was looking everywhere for something to squeeze into this small room, to use with my big easel AND my table easel, and the art stores painting stations are hugely expensive, unbelieveable! The only problem with this one is I wish I could get a top shelf for it, in the chrome, that was reasonable! But the mahogany plywood works fine, until then. I recommend this item for all artists! see ya! StarNet

This is my 3rd Seville cart and I do like it except the weight is considerably lighter than what I expected, which is why I deducted one star. It's probably because the legs are not as thick, or heavy-duty in weight and appearance, like the legs of my other two carts. However, it is sturdy enough for what I'm using it for, which is as a portable computer cart. I live in a small apartment and do all of my TV/movie/video watching on my 24" iMac and I love being able to wheel it to the kitchen so I can continue listening to, watching whatever, while I prepare a meal.

I assembled this cart in a different configuration than the options that were listed in the accompanying instructions, and that wasn't difficult since it assembles just like the others, quick and easy. I was using my larger Seville cart which is 34" x 18" but this is better, nice and small, 25" x 15", and moves around easily. I love all three of my carts, but I must stop buying them as my space is limited. Because I own 3 of them now, I am obviously sold on the Seville line of carts. They're worth every penny.

I use this to store my homeschool work and materials. I opted to put the hanging files at the top and the drawers just below. That leaves the open shelf at the bottom. It would make a great home office center- the drawers could hold stapeler, pencils, scissors, tape, etc. The file holder holds two rows of files, more capacity on each side than the average large file box.

After the quick and easy assembly, the end result is a very sturdy cart that rolls well. I have a few other seville items and they seem well made. Fortunately, I did not have the problem one of the other reviewers had with shards of metal. There are a few sharp edges but not that have been on a surface that one ends up in contact with.

My only concern was that the drawers don't have catches to prevent them from falling out, but I found that they don't, and the convenience is you can pull the drawer all the way out and use it as a tray for whatever is in it.
