The one in the picture looks gorgeous, however, the one I received in really dark chocolate does not suit very well or look natural. Did not return it because I bought it in sale (has gone down in price further since I bought mine) and couldn't be bothered to spend money returning it. But if given the choice I would next time only go for the color that the picture illustrates! Otherwise the construction and size is good.

It is quickly showing wear and tear because the wicker is so fragile. Even if your shoe only lightly brushes by the corners at the bottom of the ottoman when walking past it the wicker gets torn off. I moved it to a more out-of-the-way spot so that it is subject to less living room foot traffic, but even putting something on top of the lid, like a laptop, crushes the wicker.
The relatively cheap price was perfect for me so I cannot complain that much about its durability. It does hold a considerable amount of things inside and it still looks good, but I don't know how good it will look this time next year.

This rattan storage box looks beautiful in my living room and has plenty of room to store my daughter's larger/bulky toys in. I can't believe it was only $30 with free shipping, what a steal! Love it. Would definately recommend.
