Excellent Overview of Sevres Porcelain
This book provides an excellent background and overview of the long history of Sevres procelain production. For me, the best aspect of this book is the beautiful new photography (including technical information)for each of the objects contained in Hillwood's current exhibition.

Good for Frst-timers
This volume is a very beautiful introduction to Sevres and the history of this fabled manufacturer. However, it is just that: sn introduction. I would have welcomed a more vigorous pursuit of some of the fabulous creations still in existence--in private and public hands--as well as more illustrations of same. The photographs are lovely but not exceptional. Overall, good...
