4.0 out of 5 stars Great easy to use kayak
I have used this brand before in Adventure Races, but this kayak is heads above any I have used before. It is a well-built boat. It takes very little time and effort to inflate and deflate it for use. In the water, the built in keel and the fin allow it to track in a straight line without the effort it took in cheaper kayaks. It held two full grown adults without a...

2.0 out of 5 stars not usable for us
The product said that it had a carrying capacity of 600#. My wife and I together are barely 400# combined, yet the kayak wouldn't stay above the water line and filled with water. We no sooner paddled out, before we had to paddle back because we swamped it. There needs to be more of a solid bottom in the kayak because wherever the person sits, creases the inflated...

It held two full grown adults without a problem, and I am 6 feet and 190 pounds. I am very glad I purchased this product.

We purchased this inflatable as an alternative to hauling 2 kayaks on our roof on a trip from Michigan to Montana.Boat is very easy to use, inflates fast, deflates fast easy to stow.If you have not paddled a tandom it takes some practice, paddles nice once you get a feel for it!Great to take along on long trips when you never know when a chance to paddle will present itself. If you dont use it at least you didnt have to drive 5000mi with 2 boats on the roof!I would recomend getting air gage & foot pump.

5.0 out of 5 stars Very Pleased, September 20, 2010

This boat is awesome for the recreational person not wanting to invest heavily in a boat. It is very easy to put together, although putting in the front piece took a bit of detective work to figure out which "pocket" it goes in. The adjustable seats are nice, just wish the front seat back was sturdier as it has a tendency to slip down. The back seat doesn't have this problem of slipping since it hooks to the back of the boat for support. People have been amazed to see two women pop this boat out of a bag, blow it up quickly and then take off in the water! The hatch is nice and it also has a small mesh pocket up front and a longer one on the side between the seats. Lightweight and extremely easy to deflate for storage. Tracking leaves a bit to be desired but haven't used the supplied rudder so maybe that will help. Overall, it seems to be a very sturdy, great looking inflatable boat!

We no sooner paddled out, before we had to paddle back because we swamped it. There needs to be more of a solid bottom in the kayak because wherever the person sits, creases the inflated floor, thus it fills with water.
Hopefully I'll be able to make it work come next spring, seeing that the season is pretty much over, or it will have been a total waste of money.
