Cath Kidston's "Sew" offers lots of simple but well designed and executed projects for yourself or for gifts. The photos used to illustrate each project show her incredible fabrics, and the instructions are clear and easy to follow. The book also includes the fabric and instructions for the bag on the cover of the book, and it turns out just like the cover image. The book also includes full size patterns for each project so you don't have to go nuts on a copy machine. Great book for both beginner and experienced sewers.

I've had this book about a year and decided to make the bag that came with it. The instructions are so hard to see when the fonts are white on a light green they are barely readable. I've been sewing all my life and I found them to be very confusing as well. It's a very pretty book but between the struggle to see the fonts and the poor instructions it's also very frustrating.

Cath Kidston's book 'Sew!' was perfect to get me back into sewing. The beginning of the book reviews supplies and terms used in sewing. The projects range from very easy to moderate difficulty. The supplies are provided to complete one project using Cath's adorable fabric. Success is almost guaranteed - and that is motivation enough to resume a hobby that had been sitting in a corner!

Beginner or more experienced quilters alike will enjoy this book. The instructions are clear with lots of illustrations. The projects are from small to medium and I love the bright colors of the fabrics she used. I see this as a go to book for the fun quilt projects that refresh the palate between larger more complex quilting.

Love the creative ideas in this book. I have an addiction to purses and am always in search of the perfect "one". Now I can make my own. I cannot wait to get started on some of the projects.
