great recreations of favorite fairytale costumes. Patterns easy to follow, fit well, simple but elegant.

This is a wonderful book! What a great way to create many hours of make-believe and play. I do have to alter the patterns a bit, since my dolls are a little bigger, but it is not a difficult process. I can use scraps from my stash and fabric remnants for most of the patterns. I love that it even includes instructions on how to make the backdrop settings and props. I would highly recommend this book!

I didn't need the patterns for all the furniture etc that go with the clothing. I would have preferred more clothing patterns. Actual pattern pieces are included and can be interspersed to improvise. Easy to read instructions.

I have bought knock off dolls that look like the American Girl doll and I make them into the storybook characters for granddaughters. Great patterns and good instructions

I enjoy sewing and crafting for my daughters. This book offers fun and exciting patterns which will make wonderful additions to their dolls' wardrobes. The book also came quickly and in good shape.

I purchased 3 books on making 18" doll clothes and this was by far the best. Tissue paper patterns are included for everything! The clothes are darling and do-able, the instructions easy to follow. There are also patterns and ideas for making story boards and the accessories for each fairy tale scene. Well done book.

I love looking through this book and have made a couple of costumes so far. Instructions are easy to follow and patterns are very accurate.

This is a very nice book for anyone wishing to make outfits for the 18" American Girl doll that are different from what you can purchase in a store. This is exactly what I was looking for. The pictures and the instructions are well represented. there is also a good collection of outfits to make and the price was well worth it.
