Tone has done another very visually appealing book. She represents the quintessential Scandinavian style in a way that is hard to rival. This is now her 5th. book and they got better with every book she published.
I am giving it only 3 stars, because after 4 previous books there is nothing new -she is still doing the same projects over and over again- with a bit of a new twist. But I claim to have enough imagination to change her ideas a little to make them new and my own. Every book has dolls, and they essentially are the same in their pattern just with different dresses. One book has a flying pig, the next a flying cow and so on. Her stuffed animals also are done in the same style. In one book her birds hang on the Christmas tree, in the new book she put them on a stick... I did some research and it seems she does entire stationary collections that match her own fabric collections that are available for sale in Europe. That's why in her Sew Pretty Christmas Style book she uses the same fabric as in Sew Pretty Home Style, just in red on white instead of white on red. These are a few examples. She more or less advertises her own products in her last three books. In a very beautiful way.
If you do not own any of her books yet you should buy this book. If you already own her other books my advise would be to order it in the store to be able to look at the projects first and make up your mind if you need it for the projects offered. I was looking for new ideas and was disappointed not to find them in this book.

This is my favorite of the 3 Tone Finnanger books I have. There are so many different projects inside such as bags, baskets, angels, a sewing kit, slippers, pillows, loads of plush creatures (even a plush sandcastle and shell), I could go on and on. The photography is beautiful and inspiring and the project instructions even have images of the steps in case you get stuck on something. I would definitely recommend this book to anyone that loves sewing/crafting.

I found this one to be the best of her series, so if you don't own any of her books, I would choose this one above the others. However, there are only a few really 'new' things, others are alterations or slightly different versions of previous patterns published. I haven't made anything yet, so don't know if the previous problems with confusing instructions are also in this book. They seem to have been translated by a person with little or no knowledge of sewing or crafts - so read the instructions carefully and think them through thoroughly before commencing a project.

I have quite a few craft books and this one is would have to rate as one of the best that I own.

It is crammed full of inspiration, beautiful photography, larger and thicker than the other Tone Finnanger books that I own and a book that I will treasure for ever.

The projects cover all sorts of things from dolls, handbags, shoes, home decor and much, much more. The instructions and pattern are very clear and well thought out.

Unlike other books, there is not a page that does not take my fancy and I am sure that as a purchase, you would find that it was well worth the money spent.

I couldn't wait to get my hands on this New book and I must say--it was well worth the wait!
It doesn't disappoint! It's also a little thicker than the others.
This book consist of items and projects both for the beginner and more advanced crafter also.

Wow, was I ever disappointed in this book. There were countless ideas for stuffed animals and angels; with a couple of substantial ideas worth looking into. The photgraphy was jusy stunning, with photo after photo of beauty; but.... that's not what I bought this book for. In my own humble opinion, please take it for what's it worth to you; this book is not worth spending your money on.

I absolutely love this book. This book has a little something for everyone in your life. It's full of fun, creative and beautiful things to enjoy. The instructions are easy to follow and the photography is down right beautiful. Dont judge the book by its cover there are a ton of great projects within that should have been featured.

The book has cute ideas, what I find strange is that the seam allowances where not allowed for in the pattern given, you have to add it on yourself. Some of the techniques are vague- being a beginner confusion sets in.

I have managed to make the squirrel thus far...

We love Tone Finnanger books. Her unique style shines through in all her lovely books.
If you are looking for a design craft book, this one should be atop your list.
Wonderful gift ideas are filled on each and every page.

So many projects. I want to make them all and can't wait to do it. Easy to understand instructions and easy to do.
