Not a "Project-a-Day" Calendar,

I like to spend my son's naptime in my sewing room working on something and sometimes I get stumped on exactly WHAT to make. I like the idea of a sewing project calendar because it is like giving yourself a sewing assignment when you don't have a specific project in mind.
The calendar is set up as a sheet of paper with a project on it, one project every three days. I expected the project cards to be on card stock or at least glossy paper, but the paper the projects are printed on is more like unbound book pages, I would estimate its a bit lighter than your standard printer paper. In other words, slightly cheap feeling, as if it won't hold up if I want to save the pages of the projects I like unless I do something to preserve them, such as put them in a folder or laminate them. I would have given it 3 stars had I paid full price for this reason alone. More than 100 projects are included in the calendar and the majority of the projects look quick, easy and fun. Most of the tutorials for these projects can be found for free online since this calendar is a collaboration of the free tutorials of craft blogs from around the internet. However, its nice to have them all in one place and doled out as year progresses. It is a good collection of projects for beginning sewers or experienced seamstresses who just want something quick to whip up to get the creative juices flowing. Buyer be warned, there are a few "no-brainer" projects such as hair bows, personalized guest towels, headbands and yoga totes. Definitely stuff you could figure out on your own and not anything new or innovative. If you're looking for over 100 original and innovative projects look elsewhere. If you want 100 projects to get you sewing again, this may be right for you.

Could Live Without It,

This is not a project a day calendar. One project stretches over several days. It is also not the best calendar format. They are just loose pages placed in a cardboard box that you can stand up. Drop it, and every page is out and completely out of order.
Also, the projects range from decent to "who wants that?" I'm sure you've already come across many of these projects for free on the internet or in other crafting books. Skip the calendar and buy yourself a new craft book instead. You'll be glad not to deal with the mess that is the calendar. (And you'll get projects you may actually use.)

Not all that great...,

I got this after it went on sale - thank goodness I didn't pay full price or I would have been really p.o'd.
Some of these projects are cute and clever, but others are totally lame. Who needs to make an embroidered tin can cover? Really? I'd say there are maybe 25 projects I'd consider making, but the others are a waste of craft supplies and time.

I love, love, love this calendar! It is full of easy and quick sewing ideas. I keep it on my desk at work and it reminds of what I really love to do-crafting. I don't mind seeing Monday come so quickly now that it means a new project for the week.

Fun Projects to Work on All Year Long,

I wasn't sure what to expect when I ordered this calendar -- I only knew that it was relatively inexpensive, and had a lot of sewing projects, which made it a "must buy" in my mind :) I've had a few weeks to look over it now, and although I haven't had a chance to make any of the projects, the instructions are clear and the projects are (for the most part) practical as far as what supplies are required and whether or not you would actually use it around the house. My hope is to work my way through the projects as the year continues, but I'm not off to the greatest start, so we'll see what happens :) I'll be blogging about the projects here: [...]. Looking forward to seeing you there!

I've just started sewing again and this calender is lovely. It has so many ideas, hints, tips and tricks, I barely know which item I'll create first!
This will be a staple for my home office desk! Creating pretty and useful items is truly fun I can enjoy for the rest of my life ;-)

I had to tear into this as soon as I got it, and I know I will be making a lot of the projects inside, especially since one of the projects is from my favorite crafty blogger, "Lola" ( [...])
Good job, everyone!
