Delicious,
This review is from: Sex and Candy: 22 Succulent Stories (Paperback)
Good erotic writing can turn you on and good food writing can make your mouth water. The stories in this book have the power to do both. Some focus a bit more on the sex, and others a bit more on the food, but there is something in here for everyone.
This book turned me on and made me crave cookies, cupcakes and Turkish Delight. I read it in the tub; I should have read it in the kitchen.

Sex & Candy is unbelievably Juicy HOT. From Shar Rednour's foreword to the last dirty story, Stan Kent's, Cupcake. All the stories in this nasty book made me scream I WANT TO TRY THAT! And like all of RKB's books it also left me wanting more.
So if you are a sex & candy addict, this book, in its entire succulent splendor, is for you. Believe me, you'll be craving sex & candy again and again. & here's hoping you're craving is never satisfied.

Sweet confections and sizzling connections,
This review is from: Sex and Candy: 22 Succulent Stories (Paperback)
As when trying to make a selection in the proverbial candy store, it's hard to know where to begin in praising the delicacies laid out in the showcase called Sex & Candy. But unlike in the candy-store scenario, there's no reason you can't taste, savor, and ultimately eat up every last bit. (Then you can even do it again--how cool that sexy stories don't disappear when you gobble them up!) Among the unique erotic treats in store for you are Donna George Storey's literally seductive Venetian cookies; SekouWrites' ice cream adventure that's not on the menu; Catherine Lundoff's recipe for voice-and-chocolate synergy; Jolene Hui's out-of-control cupcake batter; Shanna Germain's tiramisu of sexual tension; and a tale of winter-crystallized sweetness from Sacchi Green. Dig in!

Do you have a sweet tooth? Do you like sex? Then this is the anthology for you! From Donna George Storey's decadent Six Layers of Sweetness through Stan Kent's kinky Cupcake, the 22 stories in Rachel Kramer Bussel's mouth-watering collection are sure to whet far more than your appetite. I'm a fan of Rachel's since He's on Top and She's on Top. And I really appreciate these delicious, sex-positive pieces.

sweeeeeet. ok, that sounds like stoner-talk, but seriously, take it from this savvy, well-read, well-versed woman, this book is fantastic. the table of contents alone makes for a great story. my personal favorites are jen dziura's "the fat box" (take that, jenny craig) and the editor herself's "sugar mama" (can i get one of those?) which exemplify the whole book's combination of cuteness, humor, and serious sex appeal. for sweet lovers and even those of you who like your sugar *unrefined*, check this hotness out!

This collection reminded me of an old bit from "Friends."
Ross: I honestly don't know if I'm hungry or horny. Chandler: Stay away from my refrigerator. With a variety of 22 erotic stories "Sex and Candy" has something for every taste, with lots of sugar and just enough spice. It's an excellent book for a couple to share, to spark an interlude of indulgence. Yum!

TASTY, SCRUMPTIOUS EROTICA STORIES,
This review is from: Sex and Candy: 22 Succulent Stories (Paperback)
Rachel Kramer Bussel has gathered another delicious collection of stories in SEX & CANDY. The theme of this anthology is especially enticing, as many people, myself included, link food and sex in myriad ways among them physically, emotionally and spiritually. You might expect SEX & CANDY to be a "one trick pony" but Bussel has gathered an amazing array of stories that explore the food/sex link in satisfying and unexpected ways as well as more traditional tales (if you can call them that) that include such things as eating fruit tucked between a woman's breasts and using candy canes in creative ways.
Some of my favorite stories were: The opening story, "Six Layers of Sweetness" by Donna George Storey is a luscious tale that blends food and sex into a tangibly arousing confection. "Cinammon Secrets" by Radclyffe is as raw as fudge shaved off a chunk of chocolate and as delicious as those shavings melting in your mouth and running down your chin. Tenille Brown's "Cling" is a compelling story that anyone can relate to about how we find some people, and some food, absolutely irresistible no matter how hard we try to abstain from them. "Kneading" by Shanna Germain showcases the sensuality of food preparation. By the time her characters are done with each other, there is no clear line between their bodies and the flour and sugar they work with at their bakery. I recommend SEX & CANDY to any fan of erotica who's ever seductively eaten a strawberry with their eyes locked on those of their lover's, or anyone new to the mixture of food and sex. It's a journey that leaves you full and satiated, yet ready for more! Further reading: Check out Rachel Kramer Bussel's other anthologies, including Naughty Spanking Stories from A to Z, Naughty Spanking Stories from A to Z, volume 2, She's on Top: Erotic Stories of Female Dominance and Male Submission and He's on Top: Erotic Stories of Male Dominance and Female Submission.

Rachel Kramer Bussel Never Disappoints,

I adore Rachel Kramer Bussel. Seriously, she can do no wrong, in my opinion. "Sex & Candy: 22 Succulent Stories" is the latest in a long line of seXXXy anthologies selected and edited by the lovely and (quite) sexy Ms. Kramer Bussel. There are some truly hot stories in this book -- some that changed the way I look at candy forever. I guarantee you will blush the next time you eat a Magnolia Bakery cupcake (if you are lucky enough to be in NYC) after reading Stan Kent's *Cupcake.* And Donna George Storey's seductive *Six Layers of Sweetness* made me lust for some delicately layered Venetian cookies. Other not-to-be-missed stories: Jen Dziura's *The Fat Box* (makes "fat" a sweet-sounding word), Sage Vivant's *Two Scoops of Gelato* (two words: Gelato threesome), and Bianca James' *Green Chili Chocolate* (spicy!).
What's next from the mind of Rachel Kramer Bussel? Whatever it is, I know I'll be reading it!

If baking cookies and pies turns you on then you will love this book. The author goes to great length describing all that she is baking. She probably weighs 200 lbs. and and has never had sex personally. Skip this one. Head to the library and check-out a cookbook for more excitement.
