World Book of Sexual Trivia
This humourous compilation might easily be called the "Guinness World Book of Sexual Trivia". I laughed, I cried, I flagellated myself.

Great book, but NO references!
I LOVED this book when I was 13 and it first came out. What's not to love? A whole bunch of facts about the sexual attitudes, beliefs, and behaviors of cultures all across history and places to make you laugh, gasp, and blush. I thought it was awesome. But now, after having attended 3 years of college I have one question: Why are there NO references? I mean not any,...

I LOVED this book when I was 13 and it first came out. What's not to love? A whole bunch of facts about the sexual attitudes, beliefs, and behaviors of cultures all across history and places to make you laugh, gasp, and blush. I thought it was awesome. But now, after having attended 3 years of college I have one question: Why are there NO references? I mean not any, none - nada. No explanations of where any of this information came from at all. None of it. Not one single factoid. Like a woman removing a baby from the wrong area of her anatomy. Virgin births. It is the things of this sort I find especially hard to believe, and things like this that tend to place the rest of the items of the book in a new light for me. So read this book with a grain of salt, don't just believe everything is absolutely the truth since it is written on the cover.
