With a few simple attitude changes that this book recommends (and I mean SIMPLE!), our sex life has truly changed and is now the best we've ever had - even though we are both in our early seventies!

Thanks Drs. Seiden and Bilett for being bold enough to write this book.

This book talks about the human animal and its normal state of being sexual until the day of its death. Now with most of us reaching advanced years, we wonder if we still should engage in such activities. We wonder if it is wise or maybe even safe!!!

It is - Drs. Seiden (MD) and Bilett (PhD) talk about the entire subject from where these myths started to what danger signs to look out for in case you are unhealthy.

But for most of us, it is a glorious affirmation that this part of our lives should and needs to continue long into our Golden Years!!!

My husband and I are a few years short of "The Golden Years" but we both read this book and our sex is better than ever. I feel we have a jumpstart on making our senior years more golden! Good health, great sex, true love, we're set!

Written by Medical Doctor Othniel J. Seiden, this book is a frank discussion of a subject that has been ignored for much too long.

Thankfully a number of good books have come out in the past few years that are breaking down the barriers to communication. In addition to Dr. Seiden's book, I can recommend several, including Grandpa Does Grandma, Dr. Ruth's Sex After 50, and the more recent Seasoned Romance.

One of the reviewers mentioned the crude language. It's true, and people who are easily offended should avoid any of the books I've mentioned. But if you want to learn from people who speak candidly, at least you now have options.

Great sex! Isn't that what most seniors want?

That's what I want, and that's what I've seen in books like Sex in the Golden Years, Amazing Sex After 60, Seasoned Romance, and Grandpa Does Grandma.

Why not now, more than ever?

This and the others I've mentioned are must-reads for seniors or soon-to-be-seniors. You won't be sorry!

I just turned 51 and am now single. For anyone turning my age or older, this is a wonderful, hope-giving book!

The same person who pointed me to this awesome book told me about The New Love and Sex After 60, as well as Seasoned Romance, Book One: Ten surprising interviews with age 60-plus men and women who reveal candid, often-intimate details about their secrets for loving, long-term relationships (Volume 1).

Before reading these books, I'm afraid I was on the brink of buying into the idea that seniors often reach the point that sex isn't worth the bother.

That has changed for me. I look forward to having a satisfying sex life in later years. And I appreciate the authors that I've mentioned in helping me to be hopeful!

I'm a man over 70, and I can tell you that this book is on point in so many ways.

For too long there weren't books like Sex in the Golden Years, Seasoned Romance, All Night Long, or Amazing Sex After 60 that focused on the needs and desires of a senior male, as well as women. Things are different for all of us, for sure, but lovemaking can still be pretty damn good for us too, and it is reassuring to know what other men have gone through.

This is a good book, regardless of your age or gender. So are the other books I mentioned.

So get back in the proverbial saddle and have all the great seasoned sex you desire!

My wife and I wrote this book because so many of our mid-life patients felt they were over-the-hill sexually. To their delight, they found the opposite to be true after only a little counseling. Furthermore after a little while, most reported that they found their sex better than ever. They discovered that age was actually a benefit to their love making. Our counseling has lent itself well to the book "Sex in the Golden Years" and it has found the same success in helping couples to achieve their "Sex In The Golden Years - the best sex ever!"
