Very good book. Quick read. Well researched. Really a good read for the information gathering bicycle junkie. Some insights that you don't normally encounter with cycling press. Very good over all.

The title says it all, and he still became one of the all time greats. This guy was not a specialist he rode them all, won just about all of them and in the same seasons. Now I love Lance and Lemond for what they did for American racing, but Anquetil lived a life on his terms (that we would not dream of and expect to be a world class racer) and he rode and won for years. His generation raced in weather that would cancel races today. An unbelievable read.
