Evelyn Dahling - finally on kindle!,
This review is from: Sex, Lies & Litigation (Meet Me At The Bar) (Kindle Edition)
This book is fantastic - probably the best piece of chick-lit I have ever encountered - hilarious, well written packed with compelling characters and rating at least 9.5 on my personal sizzle-o-meter - this book arriving on kindle is a blessing to us all - download it immediately is my advice, the read it, laugh till you burst at the seams, then turn back to page one and "lather, rinse, repeat!" that's what i'll be doing anyway - if anyone needs me i'll be in a hilarity induced coma Take care dahlings - x x x

Cute, but protagonist makes it hard to swallow,
By A Customer
This review is from: Sex, Lies and Litigation (Paperback)
The book does have its funny parts, with a few clever twists and some witty dialogues, but I just could not bring myself to like the book because the main character - our heroine litigator - is so flawlessly fake and one-dimensional (even in the outrageous, humorous context of the plot). Because of this the book read like a self-indulgent fantasy, oftentimes annoying, which was a shame because some of the minor characters were really quirky and likeable.

Sexy Legal Hilarity,
This review is from: Sex, Lies & Litigation (Meet Me At The Bar) (Kindle Edition)
Evelyn is a gorgeous aspiring young Australian barrister trying to make her way on the London legal scene in kitten heels. This first installment features her quest for professional recognition, fashionable extravagance, a new man, and of course, a semen sample for her lesbian flat mates who are trying to have a baby - life ain't easy! This book is a hilarios expose of the inns of court, a wild ride through London subcultures and side splittingly funny - I read tis book about ten years ago now, and am delighted to see it return to the shelves, ready to be recommended to everyone I know - to read it is to love it! Now all there is to do is sit on my hands till they release the sequels - I can't WAIT!

This review is from: Sex, Lies and Litigation (Paperback)
This book was hilarious. I really could not put it down and immediately sent my copy to a friend in New York who had the same reaction. Then, I got myself another! I know she has more books to come. This one would make a terrific sitcom!

This story was okay, but there were a ton of incorrectly spelled words. It completely overshadowed the plot for me. This book desperately needs to be edited again.
