I bought this book aware that I had ancestors who lived in Middlesex. What a surprise it was to me that some of them were named in this book as ones who were causing problems when they lived there.
I was flustered, but realizing that those ancestors were human beings and not just names on a chart, I was able to come to terms with what I was reading. Those who have ancestors in Middlesex might find it very revealing, as I did. |
