The moment this CD starts, your body relaxes and goes with the music. Rhythm, peace and soul are threaded through the notes to create a Jazz masterpiece. It's obvious The Necks were open and working their magic when they created this piece. It lasts 56 minutes and when it ends,you'll start it over and over again. It's a classic that you need in your music library.

Imagine a 56 minutes long piece, with a simple repeating melody, solid rhythm and short piano,strings,percussion magic trips into improvisation area. And it's not BORING ! ... For me, this is a great symbiosis of minimal and jazz music. MASTERPIECE

A tremendous single, slow-building, slow-burning acoustic piano/bass/drum piece. Totally engaging. Perfect for driving around NYC at 4am.

It's just one amazing, seductive, transcending jazz track - great for quiet moments, or as the title suggests...

immersive, oceanic, intimate, sweet, insistent, slow, driving, heart-rending, achingly beautiful, and there is 1 hour of it to sink into. Play this one only for the strictest most special of occasions: don't have it in the background while you make out with some flusie from a bar; but if the love of your life will be incarcerated for 80 years and tonight is the last night, light the candles and put this album on repeat...

Although named "Sex," the 56min song that takes up the whole CD is the perfect background music for a LOT more than just sex. It scores HUGE as dinner music, its calming enough to lull you to sleep too (I listen every night at bedtime), and even my parents LOVE it! This album/song is a MUST have for every household! DONT LET THE TITLE FOOL YA!

This album is the musical equivalent of rain blurring a window.

Could be the soundtrack to an Antonioni Movie. Elements derivative of Herbie Hancock's work on the Blow-up Soundtrack. Great to design by.

I would have said words cannot describe this masterpiece, indeed the expression "talking about music is like dancing about architecture" is especially true of this piece, but i'll try anyway. This is one of those rare pieces of music not to be treated lightly, it is for those most intimate and deepest of moments to be shared with another, or the lonesome dark wee hours of the night to get lost in brooding, meditative thought... this piece is truly inexplicable, a real example of when music transcends "physical sounds" and the illusion of conveying emotion and meaning to become something utterly magical and divine. This is music to be Experienced- not merely listened to.
