This a a very good book on sex and relationships. There are probably not more than a dozen pages that apply only to 50+ people. Almost any age group could profit from the advice. It is of necessity a bit general, but it is well written, comprehensive, and useful.

Sex Over 50 is an easy-to-read book which shares ideas for bringing back the spark in a relationship that has grown cold. The author helps you to see how normal the changes in your bodies are and how to turn those changes into assets rather than allowing them end your love life. He gives a wide variety of suggestions so that there is something that will work for everybody. My significant other and I both found it to be a treasure.

I just turned 51 and am now single. For anyone turning my age or older, this is a wonderful, hope-giving book!

The same person who pointed me to this awesome book told me about The New Love and Sex After 60, as well as Seasoned Romance, Book One: Ten surprising interviews with age 60-plus men and women who reveal candid, often-intimate details about their secrets for loving, long-term relationships (Volume 1).

Before reading these books, I'm afraid I was on the brink of buying into the idea that seniors often reach the point that sex isn't worth the bother.

That has changed for me. I look forward to having a satisfying sex life in later years. And I appreciate the authors that I've mentioned in helping me to be hopeful!

I give this a four star it is very knowledgable, not quite what I expected. It give me a new prespective about sex.

You can find the info you are looking for at reputable web sites (Mayo clinic, webMD...). Mostly this book is a bunch of stories about people in their 50s finding out that they can be sexy and desirable in mid-life.

Very informative. Some things were helpful. Plan on spending time reading to understand this book.

'Sex over 50' is a controversial book. While the authors might think it's safe, most responsible people believe that doing it while driving at that sort of speed is both irresponsible and dangerous. To quote Mario Andretti's review of the book in 'Wheels' Magazine (September 1999), 'Show consideration for other motorists. Either turn the air-conditioning to high or pull into a Motel 8.'
