King Crimson was conceived in November 1968 and born on January 13th 1969 in the Fulham Palace Cafe, London (Fripp/Ian McDonald/Greg Lake/Michael Giles/Pete Sinfield),… Read more in Amazon's King Crimson Store

4.0 out of 5 stars Silent Night, June 9, 2011
This review is from: Sex Sleep Eat Drink Dream (Audio CD)
Track List:

1) Walking On Air (Live) 5:29

2) Sex, Sleep, Eat, Drink, Dream 3:42

3) Heartbeat (Live) 3:55

4) One Time 4:00

5) Silent Night 2:50

excerpt from liner notes:

""Walking On Air" recorded live at The Wiltern Theater in Los Angeles on July 1st, 1995. "Sex, Sleep, Eat, Drink, Dream" and "One Time" are edited versions from the album "THRAK" (1995) "Heartbeat" was recorded live to DAT at the Cordova and is taken from "B'Boom," the official King Crimson double bootleg recorded live in Argentina during October 1994. "Silent Night" is an original Frippertronics piece recorded in New York, 1979".

FYI: "Silent Night" only resembles the carol at the beginning by playing the melody from the first measures: "Silent night, holy night. All is calm", and then he's off in Frippertronicsville for the remainder of the piece.

I don't think the edits of the two studio songs improve on the originals, but the two rare tracks make it a fun disc, even if only for completests.
