I bought this book in hopes of finding inspiration and a good selection for sex and love spells.
I think there are some useable spells in the book, but a lot of it is taken up for general explanations of magick and witchcraft - mostly Wicca-related -, and before you know it, you get to the end of the book and have found less actual magick than expected in it from the amount of pages. Which means that if you are just dabbling in magick, are a beginning witch, or want to give a cute gift to someone for Valentine's Day or to a lover as a hint, this book is great. For mor advanced practitioners, I think it's a nice addition to your spellbook collection, because it is nicely written and cute to look at; but for a more serious collection of spells and a bit less fluff, I would recommend The Element Encyclopedia of 5000 Spells: The Ultimate Reference Book for the Magical Arts by Judika Illes. |
