5.0 out of 5 stars A funny, lively hot collection!, March 9, 1999
By A Customer
This review is from: Sex Toy Tales (Paperback)
What a hoot! This is one of the funniest books I've ever read. Inventive, too. It anthologizes erotic tales involving sex toys. The definition of "toy" is generous and wide-reaching. The tone of the tales is both positive and provocative. Read it. It will make you want to play!

5.0 out of 5 stars Invigorating Spice, November 27, 2002
This review is from: Sex Toy Tales (Paperback)
From the traditional to the unconventional, everyone's sure to find at least one way to add a new flavor to his or her love life, regardless of his or her sexual orientation. I enjoyed a mixture of various orientations.

Some of my favorites are:

Remotely Pleasant by Jacob Hugart sent electric sparks up my spine as a woman is at the mercy of a stranger's dial tone.

The Stranger by Joel King about a toy enhanced role-playing game between a husband and wife lent fuel to the imagination.

Sex Toys in History by Frank Paine was both a comical and invigorating look inside Thomas Edison's Menlo Park Lab. I don't doubt the possibility, given Edison's eccentricities; that he had secretly worked on personal pleasure devices.

The Catalog Keeper by Karen A. Selz about two girls exploring their sexuality reminded me of my own coming of age.

The Lonely Bottom by Hank Hyena, about a man educated in Catholic Schools and his repressed desires, was hilarious!

A Pleasant Afternoon at the Beauty Shop by Diane Stevens made me want to book daily appointments.

The Twelve Days of Christmas by Dominic Santi was a very erotic take on the gifts of Christmas.

Turn About is Fair Play by Hanna Levin was about a wife turning the tables on her husband and teaching him a lesson he soon won't forget caused me to audibly gasp.

The stories in this anthology will peak your interest and provide new avenues to explore with your mate. Viva La Difference!

4.0 out of 5 stars sensitive and sensual, December 11, 1999
This review is from: Sex Toy Tales (Paperback)
I am not very good at writing in english but I will try my best. Here in Mexico there are a lot of tabus about sexual and sensual information so thought the content of the book opens a lot my mind and makes me try to do other things which i wouldn't if i didn't read the book. I think you can allways learn from peoples expiriences. I am hungry to read and learn more. I thank the people who make this posible because it is important to know things. If yopu can let me know additional information please do! I love sex!
