Proofreading. Do it!,

This review is from: removed (Kindle Edition)
I'm roughly halfway through the Kindle version of the story; it's a fairly quick read. The problem with this title, and it jumps out at you from the first page, is a problem with double consonants. "Book" will come out fine, but words like "call", "finally", and "matter" will frequently appear as "cal", "finaly", and "mater". I actually like the story; be warned, there is some semi-graphic sex involved (not exactly a problem in my mind, but I know there are some who don't read for that type of pleasure.) Go figure, based on the title. The proofreading failure, though, is highly noticeable, and detracts from the story in a large fashion.

Good, but...editing could be better.,
This review is from: The Sex Virus (Paperback)
I borrowed this book from the Kindle Owner's Lending Library as a sort of test run for the Library experience. I really enjoyed the story line, but the errors really jump out at you. There were a few sentences where I couldn't figure out what was actually trying to be said and had to move on. There is also one very noticeable scene where the character names are switched back and forth as one of the other reviewers noted. Overall, I loved the actual story and could mostly ignore the errors. If you don't mind editing as you go, you will enjoy yourself with this book.

Good story, bad proofreading,

I'm about a third of the way through the book. So far the story line is pretty good if you're into these types of books. It's an easy read. The book has several mistakes, though. There are spelling mistakes and content mistakes. For example, names of people change throughout the story and some events change.
