This book was originally released as Are We having Fun Yet in Hardback. It is a wonderful book that I cannot recommend highly enough. It has helped me to experience fantastic orgasms.

When I purchased this book I read that it was written by two women "doctors". What I didn't realize was that they are PHD's, not MD's. Though some of the conclusions they came to were "logical", anatomically they are not supported. 5.0 out of 5 stars It's HIM, not ME, January 29, 2003

This review is from: The Sex You Want: A Lovers' Guide to Women's Sexual Pleasure (Paperback)
My ex husband always made me feel like somehing was wrong with my sexuality. I bought it. This book pointed out that most women like myself, prefering clitoral stimulation, are in the vast majority. Sex is for our enjoyment, not men's egos. Any woman made to feel inadequate or "abnormal" because of her sexualtiy needs to read this book. It has taken me years to recover from being put down and made to feel bad about myself. Reading this book was a big milestone towards my emotional and sexual health and I highly recommend it.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great author, great book., May 12, 2003

This book is not only for women! As a man who cares about giving quality 'satisfaction' every bit as much as recieving, I would have to say this is a must read for every adult man and woman. I found this book to be very illuminating in more ways that one. It has changed my perspective and enhanced my understanding tremendously. If you have the opportunity to see one of her seminars or attend her workshop, I highly recommend you do so. You are bound to learn about something new you didn't know about before. No matter how good or content you may believe you are in your sex life today, weather you are a man or woman, I would still encourage you to read this book. I believe you will find yourself recommending it to others as well.

4.0 out of 5 stars Great advice on female sexuality, October 18, 2007

This book does a great job of explaining female anatomy and sexuality. Anyone who reads this book will know how to please a woman, and I am sure a lot of men could benefit from reading it. The authors are clearly very knowledgeable about female sexuality, but their assertion that men have a clitoris inside their penis suggests that they do not know a whole lot about male anatomy. That said, if you're not getting what you need from the man in your life, buying him this book may be the best investment you ever made.

This review is from: The Sex You Want: A Lovers' Guide to Women's Sexual Pleasure (Paperback)
When I purchased this book I read that it was written by two women "doctors". What I didn't realize was that they are PHD's, not MD's. Though some of the conclusions they came to were "logical", anatomically they are not supported. To say that both sexes are the same physically until the dominant gene takes over during development, and that the male "clitoris" turns into a penis and the female stays the same, is illogical. The urinary system would not support this theory. If it were so, women would urinate out of the center of their clitoris. The theory that the "male" clitoris is located inside the penis is also not possible because of the structure of the anatomy of the penis. There simply is no room between the urethra and the erectile chambers for one to exist in there.

After reading this section, the authors lost credibility and I didn't read any further. Quite disappointing.

This review is from: The Sex You Want: A Lovers' Guide to Women's Sexual Pleasure (Paperback)
The Sex You Want...I was very disappointed with the content in this book. I found it to have too strong of a feminist tone throughout. The book did not teach me anything that I needed or wanted to know, instead was a collection of political feminist views of the female orgasm. The parts in the book that actually do talk about what I wanted to learn more about, sex that I want, was full of information that any person who is over the age of 18 would know. It does not take buying this book to know that women like clitoral stimulation. Every woman knows this.
