Never in over 20 years have I ever read an 'erotic novel' such as this!,
By Denise Bolds "Lion Who Reads A Lot!" (New York United States) - See all my reviews (VINE VOICE) (REAL NAME)
This review is from: Sexaholics (Paperback)
I have been reading erotic novels for over 20 years and I have read them all - Zane, Mary B. Morison, Mariyln Lee, Lori Foster and all the others.... NEVER have I read such a book as this - it really needed an ADULT ONLY Warning label on the front! Pynk develed into the dark side of sex addiction that left me completely dazed and ON FIRE! I could only read this book in small incriments because I had to cool off inbetween! Sexaholics WILL have you addickted to this provocative story of three women who are addickted to sex no matter what. Get ready to be set on FIRE! Get ready to learn things you did not know about sex and get ready to be ADDICKTED!!! I know its only March 2010 - but I really don't think any other erotic story this year can top this! OMG!!!!

deep look at how crippling addiction can be,
This review is from: Sexaholics (Paperback)
Miki Summers is a sexaholic who loves the heat with anonymous pursuers until her out of control sexcapades catch up to her. Valencia Sanchez is bisexual hitting on both sexes in spite of being engaged to an affluent fiancé who tells her monogamy with him only or goodbye. Voyeur Teela Raye loves seeing others go at it and then doing it with her mate, but a peeping Thomasina may not be enough satisfaction especially since her mate is not interested in her passivity as a watcher. School teacher Brandi Williams is a one night special hitting different hunks every evening, but soon craves doing it in daylight too.
These four women are sex addicts who meet at Sexaholics Anonymous meetings. There each tells their tale staying in control one minute at a time as their libido keeps whispering feed me. The four key characters rotate perspective so that the audience obtains a deep look at how crippling addiction can be. Each knows the danger their sexual need causes yet they cannot control their libido's indulgences. Well written, Sexaholics is an entertaining erotica that focuses on the destructiveness of being out of control when 24/7 your vagina controls your brain. Harriet Klausner

this is one disease I wish I had... (not really, but yeah),

This review is from: Sexaholics (Paperback)
I won this book in a contest by the author and I couldn't WAIT to start reading it. This is an extremely sexual book with a LOT going on. The four main characters; Valencia, Teela, Miki, and Brandi are women with the sexual appetites of a man. No, scratch that... they have the sexual appetite of a man who has been imprisoned on a desert isle for eight years, while being fed a diet of Viagra, Levitra and oysters, being forced to watch (while handcuffed) Ebony Ayes and Ron Jeremy.
The title of this book is the perfect one for this story because it is a perfect definition of these women. Reading about the lives of these four women is very voyeuristic and sexual. Unfortunately, all of the sex they experience is not the "good" kind. A lot of it is painful, risky, dangerous, mindless, and self-induced. I think the author was trying to do two things: 1. I think she was trying to tell a story, and 2. I think she was trying to show us how real and devastating sexual addiction can be. The only problem with trying to do both in a fictional story was that; when she started talking about the `serious' part of the story, it really slowed down. It was kind of like I was in a Sex-Ed class taught by a naked Gabrielle Union and then right before she demonstrates how she gives herself an orgasm, in walks a very old and very wrinkled Lynn Hamilton (Donna from `Sanford & Son') to take over the class. I get what Pynk was trying to do, but I found myself speed-reading through these parts because I didn't want to hear all that. Everyone one of the main characters has a sexual monkey on their back and while its fun to read about their exploits, you do feel sorry for them once you really get into the story. The saying goes "Everything that glitters aint always gold". Well having a girlfriend who can't get enough may not be all that it's cracked up to be either. I know... hard to believe :-) but read this book and you'll see what I'm talking about. Pynk doesn't hold back on the drama or the sex. You'll get a healthy dose of both, right in your face so be prepared. If you haven't read anything by Pynk, `Sexaholics' just might just make you a `Pynkaholic'.

Erotica to the 10th Power!!!,
This review is from: Sexaholics (Paperback)
This was an awesome read. Pynk did such a good job of tying in so much erotic but still having a moral to the story. I look forward to more hot reads from PYNK!!!

Pynk's sophomore novel, Sexaholics, expertly delivers on its title. The novel examines four women from different walks of life who have one thing in common; sexual addiction. Each woman has her own sexual indulgence. And each entices the senses with her wild experiences.
Miki Summers' addiction leads her to share her body with various people; creating spicy sexcapades with anonymous suitors. When her indiscretions confront her, she is changed forever. But is it for better or worse? Valencia Sanchez gets her groove on with men and women. One would think having a well-to-do fiancé, who wants her all to himself, would be enough to quench her sexual appetite--at least until she has the ring permanently on her finger. But when she is unable to give up the one thing he forbids, will her fiance' give her walking papers or indulge in her lifestyle for old time's sake? Teela Raye's voyeurism comes with two advantages; providing her visual stimulation for sexual pleasure and adventures in sex for her mate. But how long can looking get her off? And what happens when she finds out her mate is not necessarily sharing anymore? Brandi Williams is the plain Jane sister-girl. A school teacher by day and certified freak by night, she gives a new meaning to one-hitter-quitter. Brandi does not realize how deep her addiction runs until she begins to mix night and day; placing her freaky ways at the top of her list of priorities. The common ground they stomp on is Sexaholics Anonymous meetings where they share their stories, receive the support they need to venture into recovery, and confront their addictions one day (or even one hour) at a time. Pynk, once again, delivers a great novel. Although I could not personally relate to the characters, I am sure there are many who can. It is a very timely piece of fiction and in the right hands will help others who suffer from sexual addiction. I love how Pynk weaves education and entertainment without it seeming preachy. Erotica lovers will definitely appreciate such a gratifying read, but be warned-Sexaholics is definitely for the freakiest of freaks. I recommend this novel to erotica lovers who like hard-core, steamy sex scenes and Pynk supporters. This novel was provided by the author for review purposes. Darnetta Frazier APOOO BookClub

I stumbled upon this book and its author purely on accident. I wasn't expecting to find nor read something like this. Is this my first time reading Erotica? No, but I wasn't searching for any when I stumbled across this story. On the outside, this looks like your steriotypical Erotica tale: heavy sex with no story content. This is not the case with Sexaholics. Yes, Sexaholics is filled with steamy sex scenes that will leave you heated and breathless, but as you get deeper into the story, you see that there is more to it then just wild sex. Conflicts, secrets, and their consequences all come into play. There is a lesson to be learned in Sexaholics. I reccomend this book to anyone who may stumble upon it, or if you are simply just curious.

I usually love to read a good erotica novel, but this one was erotica overload. I feel as if the only thing the characters did was have sex! Guess the title gives that away though! I didn't think there was much of a story line, just sex scene after sex scene. I love erotica novels, but I also like for these books to have a good plot and interesting characters. I only got half way through this book because it couldn't keep my attention. Might as well watch a hardcore porn movie if you are going to read this novel!!

Pynk put it down in this book, the characters were so funny and really put it all out there.
I wanted a sequel but I'm not sure if she's writing one. All of Pynks books are really good, I'm reading Sixty-Nine now, I am forever a fan.
