4.0 out of 5 stars Don't Hate
Man, there are so many haters... where do these people come from?? If you don't like Necro, don't listen to him. Attention little bxtches like "Jack Light": go listen to your mainstream bullshxt or your "real" underground hip-hip, whatever that hell that means. Whenever I hear supposed "real" hip-hop like Jurassic 5 it puts me to sleep because it is so damn boring...

3.0 out of 5 stars Could be better, but good enough.
Not much to say. I enjoyed the album, it was amusing enough. I definately agree that it wasn't nearly as good as previous ones. My only complaint about any of his songs is that he really doesn't have any rhythm if that's the right word. The music itself and the lyrics are enough to draw me in though. I would recommend though if some of you haven't heard of Q-Strange to...

Man, there are so many haters... where do these people come from?? If you don't like Necro, don't listen to him. Attention little bxtches like "Jack Light": go listen to your mainstream bullshxt or your "real" underground hip-hip, whatever that hell that means. Whenever I hear supposed "real" hip-hop like Jurassic 5 it puts me to sleep because it is so damn boring. And what is all of this crap about Necro being a coward? Ladies and gentleman, I have a news flash... this is entertainment, not real life!!! Do you think Necro actually mutilates bodies, sacrifices goats and rapes women? Of course not! There is a demographic of people out there (like myself) who enjoy listening to music like this... it provides an outlet for the stresses of everyday life and it's harmless fun. Really, what is the difference between a Necro album and a horror movie? Some people like horror movies, some people like horror music, some people like both. If you're a whiny sensitive f*ggot like "Jack Light", who is easily offended and gets scared if there is a spider on the wall, then do the world a favor and kill yourself. Or better yet, stay alive, shut up, and don't post negative reviews for Necro CDs on Amazon. I don't understand why people feel the need to bash underground artists anyway (my J5 comment was only for the sake of this argument!)... it's not like these guys are being shoved down your throat like all of the crap on the radio and MTV. If you don't like it, just stay away!! It really is that easy...

Now that we've gotten that out of the way, let me move along to reviewing "The Sexorcist" for the real Necro fans out there. This is definitely not Necro's best work, but it is a nice concept album that should please most fans. Those of you that only like the horror-themed death rap may find yourselves disappointed that the album doesn't have any metal influences or songs strictly about violence and killing. This CD is 100% about sex, but if you read the song titles and noticed that the album was titled "The Sexorcist," this shouldn't come as a huge surprise. Anyone who can appreciate Necro's amazing word play and sick imagery should still enjoy this album.

The porn star guest appearances don't add all that much beyond interesting dialogue, but they do help to set the album's tone. I'd say that the album's best song is definitely track #1, "Who's Ya Daddy"... this is probably one of my top 5 favorite Necro songs of all time. The sample on this track is priceless and Necro's insane rapping matches the beat perfectly. My three other favorites are "Vaginal Secretions," "Whore," and "Edge Play"... all great sex tracks. Unfortunately, the entire album isn't anywhere near as good as these four tracks. Some of the tracks are extremely cheesy ("I Remain Stiff") and some are just downright unnecessary ("Piss"), but there is still enough here to draw interest if you're a fan.

If you're expecting an album like "I Need Drugs," "Gory Days," or "The Pre-Fix For Death," you aren't going to find what you're looking for. Necro keeps things fresh and once again comes out with an album that has a new sound. Say what you will about him, but I think Necro is one of the best producers and rappers out there. This music is strictly for the hardcore. Haters die!

5.0 out of 5 stars SEX, SEX, SEX, November 24, 2009
This review is from: The Sexorcist (Audio CD)
The Sexorcist, the 4th album for the genius of of Underground Hip Hop. He brings this album to life with the subject geared towards sex. He wraps it all together with a few skits with some of the biggest names in the Porn business. Ron Jeremy, Jerry Butler, Eve Lawrence, Katja Kassin, Katsumi, Avy Lee Roth, Brittany Andrews, & Alexis Malone. This is by far, based on the content; 1 of my favorite albums of all time. You wont be disappointed with the purchase of this album, so what are you still doing sitting there reading this review, BUY IT!!

5.0 out of 5 stars This Ones for The Ladies, TOO!...., November 22, 2009
This review is from: The Sexorcist (Audio CD)
Necro always takes his raps to the extreme, & this record is no exception.... Its an entire album geared toward sex, sex, & MORE sex.... The beats are ILL & the ryhmes are VIVID!.... Ive play this cd for my crew, & they get into it like CRAZY.... Its MAD fun to bump this album while driving down a busy street with your girls, just for the reaction & all the head turning.... The porn star skits alone are TOTALLY worth the purchase, but then add all the DOPE ryhmes, & its like the icing ON TOP of the icing on the best cake youve ever.... Hehehe... Can you tell that I love-love-loveity-LOVE this CD?!.... Well, I DO!.... Buy it already!....

5.0 out of 5 stars Another 5 star album from Necro, August 15, 2005

The gore hip hop king Necro has momentarily switched gears and made the first hip hop porno album, and it hasn't left my CD player yet. This album is banging (no pun intended) from start to finish. And thankfully, he never deviates from the Necro we all know: its still a sick, sick album.

Best Tracks: Vaginal Secretions - the dopest track on the CD.
Who's Your Daddy - He rips this one
I Remain Stiff- "you strippers dance around a pole
put your lips around a pole" how can you go wrong?

Necro is still the best thing in underground rap music right now. This album, while a change of pace, is still vintage Necro. Fans will not be disappointed.

I would love to see Q and Necro do something together if they haven't already.

5.0 out of 5 stars Not for the faint of heart., September 11, 2007

Most who are familiar with Necro know what he's all about and know that his lyrics are unlike any other artist out there. With style and grace that shock and awe but still gain fans, Necro is one of the most talented hip hop artists out there, but due to the content of his lyrics, many critics can't stand him. If they only understood the Sexorcist himself. What man doesn't love sex and violence? Other tracks by Necro explore the deeper, darker thoughts that many try not to think. The Sexorcist continues this trend breaking rules and exploring sexuality to the most extreme. With great cameos by some of the adult industries biggest and hottest (example Eve Lawrence), the album keeps your ear (if you're brave and entertained enough to listen from beginning to end). The album has some great beats and raunchy yet enjoyable lyrics. One of the best tracks, and catchiest hooks would have to be "I Remain Stiff." Not for the faint of heart, but a great album for any Necro fan out there.

4.0 out of 5 stars Plain and simple review, January 9, 2007
This review is from: AKA The Sexorcist (Audio CD)
Plain and simple: if you like Necro, you'll love this CD. If you are offended easily or dont know what he's all about, you'll throw up. To the reviewer who said "There is so much to discuss in the world..." well Necro's goal and responsibility is not to rap about the issues of the world. The closest thing he's done to that is probably "White Slavery".

I'll say one thing to in defense of him - he may be the absolute sickest filthiest rapper (this is why we love him) out there... but he has never rapped about "raping" women like the reviewer below claims. The man raps about murder, dismemberment, torture, but I got to give him props for not ever crossing that line. I've honestly thought hard about it and that is probably the only line he never crossed. And songs about the degrading way of treating or even more degrading ways of having sex with women - he still never crossed that line.

So as for this album: Its laced with porn star commentary, and starting off with 'Who's Your Daddy' and ending strong with 'Vaginal Secretions'. 'Piss' has a sick beat and one of the filthiest themes, wish the song was more than a minute long. About 3 other songs on there that I've got looping constantly.

Necro... keep crossing the line, keep producing the sickest stuff that we cant even imagine.

1.0 out of 5 stars total garbage- Necro is tired, lame, unoriginal, December 2, 2005
This review is from: AKA The Sexorcist (Audio CD)
Good lord, what happened to Necro? His first album "I need Drugs" was twisted, funny, and original with grimy beats. But every CD he released since has been progressively worse. And this is rock bottom for sure. This album is a cheap gimmick, another pathetic attempt by Necro to make something of a career which clearly isn't going where he hoped. There is so much to discuss in the world: the war in Iraq, CIA death squads, economic brutality...

But all this guy can rap about is raping women and busting on their face. The whole "porn rap" is the latest shtick from an emcee who is clearly fresh out of ideas. Necro is incapable of making relevant, socially conscious music. And yet he has the gall to claim he overstands the system.

If you like music from sociopathic posers with 3rd grade vocabularies, by all means cop the album. I would call this album crap, but it would be an insult to fecal matter worldwide.
