This book is a very illuminating introduction to tantric techniques. Most of the books that I have seen have been much too metaphysical. This can be good for some readers but not for others. This one still communicates the spiritual half but more or less introduces the reader to having emotional sex and not physical sex. It also has a lot of variety. It has many different ideas and techniques to try. I have looked at many books on tantra and this is my favorite so far. Give it a try : )

What a fantastic gift this book is. In a time where we as a culture seem to only want distractions, this book reminds us that in order to achieve ecstacy we need only to look within. Our "modern" society seems to have trouble talking truthfully about sex. We still, for some mysterious reason, think of sex as "dirty" or "obscene." Why? Who knows? But for those who have open minds and accept sex as truly natural, this book can surely help you achieve bliss. Containing enough information to keep any couple or individual engrossed for years, Sexual Energy Ecstacy is a priceless investment. Magificently written and illustrated, David and Ellen Ramsdale should be envyed for their experience, and thanked for their courage and ability to share it. Any couple who adopts their techniques will expand their relationship far into the joyous state of Pure Love. So I guess I'm saying, "buy it and be happy."

I've read quite a few books on Tantra, but few compare to this one. It is an insightful look at both eastern and western sacred sexual practices. If you want to transform your relationship into something truly powerful and everlasting, this is just the book you're looking for

I thought this book was great, but I'm not sure everyone would like it. I think you have to "open up your mind" in order to "accept" what it's telling you. Alot of what it says is not about specific techniques, per se, but more about changing the WAY you think about sex. I'd describe it as a very cerebral book. The only other comment I'd make is that it didn't seem to say anything about "Western" idealogies or techniques. I think this really focuses more on Eastern philosphy, which is OK with me....

This is the one to buy. A through, fascinating decription of the sexual energy aspect of neo-tantra. Puts the other books to shame.

I truly enjoyed this book. It describes everything you need to know to succesfully begin into the Arts of the East and West, with plenty of practical applications. Anyone interested in improving their level of activity will be surprised by the usefulness of this book. Great Choice !

My partner and I read this book years ago and I still remember much of it.. Should be required reading for a sexually mature individual.. If you read this book and do now have a 100percent improvement in your live and love making your not doing it right... you need to re-read it.

This book loses major points by suggesting that it is okay for a man of 30 to ejaculate once every two days, and a man of 40 once every three days. As a comparison, Daniel Reid in his book The Tao of Health, Sex and Longevity recommends a general regimen of 24 ejaculations per year, or about once every two weeks, varying the frequency depending on age and the time of year.

Anyone who does qigong, taiji or similar work with their qi would understand that the ejaculatory frequencies suggested by this book are far too high. Three days is simply not enough for a man of 40 to replenish his energy levels and fully experience Eastern sexual techniques.

The book simply does not want to tell men that they should reduce their frequency of ejaculation in order to build up qi levels - my guess is that they would not sell as many copies if they told Western men to reduce their ejaculation frequency. Besides, most men are already ejaculating as often as this book mentions, as according to Esquire a few years ago the average number of ejaculations by men was 2.7 per week (about once every 3 days). In my opinion this ruins an otherwise good book.
