Not as good as Emma Holly, but it's Black Lace at it's best,

This review is from: Sexual Strategy (Black Lace) (Mass Market Paperback)
I felt this book had good character development and very arousing situations. Some of the sex scenes could have used some more detail, but your imagination has to step in somewhere. For people looking for the same sort of sexual setup as in Emma Holly's Menage and Madeline Ellis's A Gentleman's Wager, look no further.

This is not an erotica book ... it's a sex book with a super simplistic plot that has been done over and over and over ..... I mean the main character, young 28 year old female in the UK, is struggling in the corporate world and even at that age like all of a sudden she realizes that everyone around her belongs to the Huxley club AKA swap club.... What happened to her in the previous years she walked around with blinders? Few if any of the characters are endearing, and the fact that the author has a penchant for men on men sex ... this doesn't even save the book .. Sorry it's a stinker .....

This story wasn't anything special. The plot was semi-interesting, relationships being more 'unprofessional' then they should be at work, to include an after work club strictly for [Adult situations].The writing however was lack luster and I felt nothing what so ever for the main female character. The scenes, and let's be honest here this is WHY I bought the book, were lacking in build-up and passion. The average romance book has MUCH better scenes. I really felt nothing from this book, it didn't work for me.
