CHANKU WILD Oh how Oliver and Mei just wish they could bond. She is a snow leopard and he is a wolf (cat and dog don't mix). She is still considered Chanku and still yet everyone thinks of her as family. She cannot mindtalk to anyone in leopard form since she is different. She decides to babysit Anton and Stefan's children so the rest of the pack can run. Mik, AJ and Tala decide to go visit after a really bad job made her feel awful from trying to save a mother a baby from a father killing them and failed.
Mik, AJ and Tala get to the ranch and notices that it's empty but they go ahead and walk in. Mik goes in first and immediately tells the others to stop walking-to see a leopard standing in front of him scrounched in attack mode. Mik tries to talk to Mei and to her surprise, she could somewhat understand him.
With that discovered, Anton decides that Mei's Asian culture and Mik's Indian culture has a lot to do with it. He yet once again calls for another meeting. This time the meeting is a little bit more challenging. He wants to swap the conscience of Mei to Eve (since Eve offered to help) while in wolf and leopard form so Mei and Oliver can bond. Anton still is not sure if it will work and there is a risk once the conscience's have been swapped, they may not come back to their original bodies.
Anton and Stefan have to go out of town and Anton has told everyone that they had to be celibate 3 days before the swap. Anton has an idea for Mik to call on one of his ancestors, to see if this might help. Well, Adam and Mik decide to get together and something really amazing happens. They could not believe what had happened so they invite everyone to join in.Read more ›

"Chanku Wild" by Kate Douglas. Shapeshifters Oliver Chen and Mei are obvious Chanku lifemates. However, although they love each other, they have one humongous problem that threatens to keep them apart. He is wolf and she is snow leopard.
"Night Scream" by Vonna Harper. Near Flagstaff, skeptic Amy Murphy attends a Walapai Apache ceremony. That is until Tohon confronts her to learn the meaning behind the cry of the puma, to deal with life's difficulties past and present lives, and to love sex in any shape or form.
"In Ice" by Crystal Jordan. In the distant future, Jain Roberts' ship crashes on an icy planet where she is rescued by Kesuk, clan leader of the shapeshifting Arctic Bears. He entices her with sexy dreams that he plans to make real.
These three paranormal erotic romances are fun tales to read. Kate Douglas' contribution is well written and continues her series, but newcomers will be lost without at least reading Wolf Tales VI. Sub-genre fans will enjoy these hot romantic fantasies especially the were-bear melting the ice around Jain's heart and the introspective relationship of "Night Scream".
