enjoyable heated shapeshifting romances,
This review is from: Sexy Beast VIII (Paperback)
"Chanku Spirit" by Kate Douglas. Anton, Stefan and Matt leave their sanctuary traveling to Florida in search of their heritage. There the goddess chooses Matt to be her consort for eternity.
"Running Wild" by Kathleen Dante. Graeme teaches his beloved Deanna all there is about shapeshifting, but is irate when his cousin sniffs at his mate. "Heart of the Wildcat by Devyn Quinn. As his tribe nears extinction, Joseph prays he finds a mate so when he rescues ecologist Kathryn's life, he wonders if she could be the one for him. These three heated shapeshifting romances are fun entertaining tales that sub-genre fans will enjoy. The Kate Douglas entry is a key link in her Chanku saga as it has direct cause and effect implications to the next Wolf Tales (July publication). Harriet Klausner

I purchased this book only for the continuing Chantu Saga by Kate Douglas. I love this author and this series. The characters are real as are the story lines. I will read anything she writes and highly recommend these books as a part of the Chantu Saga. The other authors and stories are good also.

"Chanku Spirit" by Kate Douglas
Matt Rodgers, a Chanku wolf shifter, so wanted to mate bond as a threesome with fellow shapeshifters Daci Lupei and Deacon March. Yet, Matt couldn't take that final step until he figured out the identity of the faceless female voice in his head, and the reasoning behind the need to go to Florida. Matt's investigation lead him to the Chanku Goddess, and he soon discovered that she played for keeps regardless of his wishes. Has Matt lost his chance to mate with the two people that he loved the most? "Chanku Spirit" is sure to please readers with fascinating, well-known characters and a swift moving plot. I really admired how Matt, Daci and Deacon were willing to fight against all odds to be together, and let me tell you what a huge, life threatening fight it was. Kudos goes to Kate Douglas for creating yet another dramatic, wonderful, breathtaking story in her Wolf Tale series that will have you hanging on the edge of your seat with pure excitement. "Running Wild" by Kathleen Dante Deanna Lycan never knew about shapeshifters until she was saved by Officer Graeme Luger. From the instant they met, there was a strong animal-like attraction between them that could not be ignored. Before Deanna knew it SHE and Braeme were shifting into werewolves! Growing up as an orphan, Deanna never knew of her wolf heritage. Now, she was even more determined to discover more about her parents. But first she had to deal with the threat against her life and her strong attraction towards Graeme and his cousin. "Running Wild" was an emotional rollercoaster of a ride from start to finish. Deanna and Graeme had loads of passion and tension showcased between them that gave the storyline sizzle and thrill. Kathleen Dante also managed to add in a touch of danger and another possible love interest to keep things intriguing until the very end. "Heart of the Wildcat" by Devyn Quinn Kathryn Dayton, who worked for the Wildlife Commission, knew she was in trouble the moment the two mountain men walked up to her campsite. Just as she was about to be raped by the two mountain men, Kathryn was saved by Joseph Clawfoot. Joseph Clawfoot, alpha of the cougar shifter clan, longed for his mate, but he had yet to find her. That was until he saved Kathryn Dayton from a vicious attack. She was his mate! How will Kathryn respond once she learned of Joseph's true nature? "Heart of the Wildcat" had a wonderful mixture of danger, excitement and passion. Both Kathryn and Joseph were dominate, strong-willed characters who were perfect for each other. Between the countless sexual escapades and the danger that surrounded the cougar shifting clan, "Heart of the Wildcat" proved to be a joyous read that held my attention from the start to finish. Overall, I found Sexy Beast VIII to be a thrilling paranormal erotic read. Each story had its own defining flare that stayed true to the shapeshifting theme and a hint of danger that kept me glued to my seat eager to see how the plot would unfold. I love the passionate chemistry showcased between the heroes and heroines. So, if you are looking for a few sexy beasts and the women who were born to tame them, then pick up your copy of Sexy Beast VIII - you will not be disappointed. Nikita Reviewed for Joyfully Reviewed

Was very good but just wished it wasn't the last of the series. Kate Douglas is a very good author and her series the Chanku and the spin off the Wolf Tales are great.
