In his first book, Kevin shares his views and how his experiences shaped those views. In this follow-up, Kevin digs deeper into his views including in-depth analysis and interesting facts. He successfully balances his views, facts that justify his views as well as humor and wit. I found myself learning and laughing. The Whoopi Goldberg joke was my favorite. Unlike some political philosophy books, this book was properly paced without repeating itself and did not suffer from mundane over-analysis.

We live in troubled times, as there are problems in our nation affecting everyone. Under these cicumstances,it is absolutely necessary to lighten up once in awhile and simply have a good laugh! We received a book as a gift which applies for this purpose.
Kevin Jackson's "Sexy Brilliance...and Other Political Lies" is educating,thought provoking, but written with a keen sense of humor. While addressing important current political and social issues, Mr. Jackson keeps the reader entertained. There are few books that make one laugh out loud, but we would not recommend reading this book in designated "quiet areas"!
We highly recommend this book as a fresh perspective on our political scene from a knowledgeable and respected politcal activist/humorist author.

I read this book with an open mind, knowing very well that Kevin is a black conservative. What I love about this book is that I was educated and entertained at the same time. Kevin gives us his insight on the thinking of progressive liberals and he is DEAD ON! I would highly recommend reading this book, especially if you'd really like to know the real truth about Barack Obama.
