You call this love ballads?,

I bought this hoping to find some Journey-type love ballads. My friend, he told me, yeah, it's like a more mellow journey. Or like Steve Perry's stuff.
But it's just about a rock and roll record. Now, my brother, he likes it. He says it's best of some of the indie records. He says it's like a punk Who. So if you are my brother. Fine. But for me-- STEVE PERRY! My brother says to give it five stars but I would give it only 1. But my brother is older.

This album rocks. Don't know much about the band but bought it on a whem, and it is absolutely fantastic. The songs range in styles from power pop to country, but are all rooted in pure rock and roll. Think Replacements, Pixies or even the Rolling Stone.
