I did Tracey's six-week plan and couldn't believe how easy it was to follow and how quickly results showed! The great things about this book are that Tracey details a healthy eating program and shows you how to exercise more efficiently to get results. I was already exercising and thought I had a pretty healthy diet, but even making small changes in the way I did things had huge results. I feel better, look better, and have more energy. I have incorporated Tracey's plan fully into my life. People ask me if I am still "doing Tracey Mallett" and while I don't feel like I am on a "plan" this is just the way I live now...and it feels great! I highly recommend this book.

This program is a smart and thorough way to tone your body, improve your eating habits, increase your energy, and fit it in to a busy lifestyle. The 6-minute segments and food advice are really very good!

Caveat: I give it 5 stars BUT I feel that following the instructions in the book adds up AT FIRST to a lot more than 6 minutes per segment. If you follow along with the DVD, however, then the 6-minute intervals really do take only 6 minutes.

So, if you learn easily from written pages and B&W photos, then the book will be all you need, and you'll get faster at the different segments as you repeat them. If (like me) you need to SEE the exercises being performed or prefer to exercise along with someone else, then you will need to purchase the additional DVDs. They are not yet released but I have already ordered them as I KNOW I will use them. (The DVD included with the book has four excellent 6-minute segments.)

The food advice in the book is sensible, not at all "diet" style. It just makes sense both from a food quality as well as quantity standpoint, and also from a timing point of view: it's recommended that you eat six times per day, eat good protiens, smart carbs, and lots of frutis and vegs.

Tracey is motivating, encouraging and friendly, not preachy; she has a business and two young kids, like many of us; she used real women (including her mum!) to test out the program and saw positive results in all those who stuck with the program for 6 weeks. And the results weren't ridiculous claims of loosing vast amounts of weight or becoming a super-model, they were real, attainable and honest results.

If this sounds like a way you'd like to approach weight loss and/or maintenance, and attaining a healthful lifestyle and more energy, then you won't be disappointed.

Tracey Mallett's 6 Minute Quick Blast Method is the perfect answer to the fitness needs of a busy person. With 3 kids under the age of 6 (including 3 year old twins) and a full-time work schedule, I have very limited time for exercise, but with the minimal time required for this program I been able to fit regular exercise back into my life and have seen dramatic results in just a few short weeks.

The 6 Minute Quick Blast Method is fantastic. With a lot of variety in the exercises and options to customize the workout based on what you feel like doing that day (e.g., focus on upper body, more on abs, more on lower body, or more total body), you never get bored with it. I would even venture to say...it is fun! The best part is you can break it up and just do 6 minutes at a time, so there's no excuse for why you can't fit it into a hectic day. The exercises are tough enough that you feel like you are really accomplishing results, but they don't leave you exhausted and sore - things that would make you not want to do it again the next day.

Following Tracey's guidelines in her book and the two videos have helped me accomplish great results in less than 30 minutes each day. Before this, I thought I had to work out for an hour a day to get results, and always ended up quitting any program I started as I just couldn't commit to that kind of time each day. Thanks to Tracey's program, I now have a solution to an exercise routine that I can commit to for the long term, as I know I can find the short amount of time to stick with it day after day.

Tracey's book brilliantly shares her years of expertise and experience in health, nutrition, and fitness. This is clearly a program written by a woman for woman. Tracey understands all those bulges and jiggles that many woman are self conscious about and has designed exercises to target those areas. The exercises are designed to work out several muscle groups at a time, so you get more bang for your buck! A very quick and efficient way to work out and GET results.
The 6 minute segments can be broken up throughout the day. No excuse not to squeeze in a quick blast here and there!
The food program is very easy to follow. It doesn't require unusual ingredients, just simple shopping and prep. It is easy to stick to because it doesn't eliminate any food groups. It is all about portion control and timing.
I participated in Team Mallet and Tracey's Sexy in 6 worked for me! In just six weeks I lost 4% body fat and several inches which means I replaced fat with muscle! Once you see the results, you'll be motivated to adopt this healthy life style forever! Let's face it, who doesn't want to look like Tracey!

Sexy in 6 is a decent book. The motivational stories can be, well, motivating, if you go for that sort of stuff. The workouts are ok - if you are already in pretty good shape, they may not be very challenging but just like any workout, you get out what you put in.

Her diet advice is solid - it's basically the food pyramid only she separates your proteins into 7 small portions instead of 3 traditional portions (ie, 1 egg instead of 2, 1oz of fish instead of 3).

Sexy in 6 can certainly help you reach your goals if you follow her diet and exercise plan. I would suggest adding more cardio (as she recommends).

I have been using Tracey Mallett's workouts for almost 2 years. I have had such great success, I went from weighing 200 pounds to 110 pounds. Tracey's approach to exercise and nutrition is so realistic even people who have failed before can achieve real results.
In this book Tracey incorporates a healthy eating plan with an easy to follow workout regimen that allows the everyday person to take control of their lifestyle without having to sacrifice eating good foods and without having to spend hours in a gym. I think this book is the ideal guide for someone who wants to lose weight and take control of it once and for all. There is no fad dieting or strict eating involved, just logic. I follow Tracey's plans and workouts and I am proof that her approach can work for anyone.

This book is well put together and easy to use. It is simple to read and very thorough. It's loaded with personal stories, tips, very easy to follow pictures and includes a DVD with four 6-minutes quick blast workouts. The book expands upon these workouts to give variety and is great to travel for quick workouts.
Everyone that had tried Tracey's program felt better and had more energy.
The idea behind this book is ingenious, you can get as creative as you want on the food options and the recipes are yummy.
This program will awaken all the senses and it makes all the sense in the world! Go Team Mallett! Thank you Tracey!

I have tried several different workouts and diets, and this is the first one that seems like something you can actually stick with. I just read the book and am just starting my 6 week program, but I am already reccomending it to friends, I even gave copies to my mom and sister for Christmas! The stories of the real women who have used the program sprinkled throughout the book are so motivating and inspiring. I can't wait for the DVD's to be released! It's time I got my pre-kids body back and start to feel like myself again, SEXY!

Tracey has created a quick, practical, realistic workout and lifestyle for everyone who wants to become healthier. The best part about this book is that anyone can do it - it doesn't take much time OR athleticism! The theory is that you do 6-18 minute bursts of exercise whenever you get a chance. I do 12 minutes in the morning before work, and another round after I put my kids to bed. All it takes is some hand weights and a stability ball (but you can do many exercises without the ball). It's so much easier to exercise this way than to try to pack up all of my kids and get to the gym every night!

I've tried all kinds of diet and exercise plans in the past that required giving up foods that I loved, or exercising way beyond what I was capable of, either in time or energy. The success stories in the book prove that this is a realistic system for anyone looking to lose some weight, feel better, and be healthier all around. Each before and after picture tells the story of someone who got great results they can be proud of for just a little bit of effort - VERY INSPIRING! I love this book and Tracey's dvds and will be purchasing them for my friends and family members!

I can't say enough good things about Tracey Mallett's Sexy in 6 book AND the two companion DVDs: Tracey Mallett's 6 Minute Quick Blast Method-Total Body Fat Burner and Tracey Mallett's 6 Minute Quick Blast Method-Total Body Calorie Blast

After I had my second baby, I had major complications followed by major surgery....it took forever to get back to the point of being able to work out again!! When I was finally ready, I found Tracey's book & ordered the DVDs. Within about 4 months of doing her workouts, I lost over 20 pounds and was in the best shape I had ever been in my life!! And abs?? NOTHING works my abs like Tracey's workouts do!!

Her plan is simple and easy to follow, and the workouts are broken up into 6-minute segments to make them super easy to fit into your busy day!! The nutrition advice & recipes are wonderful, too!

TRY IT!! I promise Tracey will get you feeling sexy again in no time!!
