Buy American,. Its no wonder we don't have jobs in the USA,very poor workmanship. I should have sent this handle back,and i would have if I had notice that the axe handle is bowed before i started working on it,also there are saw marks on both sides of the handle,it looks like they dip-ed it it in a barrel of varnish and hung it up to dry,the split in the axe head end is off center by 3/16 " or better and is too thick by a 1/4 inch,that is a bit to much,some sanding and scraping is normal but if have five hours in it and still not done. I can buy one at Lowe's for two dollars cheaper-I shoud have.
