5.0 out of 5 stars Very Nice Chandelier, September 26, 2008

I want to first off say I love this chandelier. In fact, after having one for a few months, I bought another. They look great. I want to warn anyone who might buy this, though. Expect to use hot glue if you want to use taper candles, because the candles won't fit and stay upright. You have to glue the candles in, but when it's time to replace them, the glue comes out easily. The other recommendation I have is to hot glue the glass candle holders into the chandelier, even though they screw in. I promise, with taper candles, they will loosen and fall. Still, for just a couple of cents and 5 minutes of time, this is the perfect shabby chic chandelier. Also, if you don't like the crystals, they just slide off the scroll work.

5.0 out of 5 stars BEAUTIFUL PRODUCT!, June 25, 2008
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
I was too nervous to buy this and questioned it for some time. Then decided to take the plunge. I decorate shabby-chic style and I don't want to install a chandelier in my bedroom, so this would work. The only thing that threw me off was that the crystals are made of acrylic, so I imagined that they would be cheap, fake and plasticky. I was wrong. These sparkle and look amazing. It looks like a good 40-50$ piece and it's so affordable. I may buy more for myself or relatives. It is so lightweight you just use a hook and don't have to worry about it falling on heads. It's small and pretty. I went ahead and put in FLAMELESS TEALIGHT candles in it (battery-operated) and they look amazing. It was easy to put together. Prettier than I thought (I thought the glass would look ugly too but I was wrong.)

5.0 out of 5 stars Love it!, May 14, 2009
Love this chandelier. It was the perfect size to hang over our jacuzzi tub; where we wanted something romantic and didn't want the hassel of an electric light chandelier. A little unknown BONUS; the chandelier can hold regular taper candles, but also votives can fit in the holders and look fantastic as well (if you'd like a little variety). GREAT buy, can't beat the price. Adds a little elegance and romance for so few $$$.

I bought these for my daughter's Sweet 16 Masquerade Ball. They are a cream color, and small, but great for the price. The only problem I had was keeping the candles from falling over. We had to melt candles to get wax in the bottom so the candles would stand up straight. If you aren't lighting candles, would still look great.

My kitchen is very vintage, bright and fun. I wanted to add this to the decor and for the price felt I couldn't go wrong. I was right! It is so cute and a perfect accent piece. Not only that, but they delivered it within two days. I love not waiting and getting something cute! I took the advice of the other buyer and used hot glue to keep the candles in. Worked like a charm!

5.0 out of 5 stars Shabby Chic, September 8, 2010

This candle holder fits perfectly into my daughter's Shabby Chic bedroom decor. The candle cups screw into the holder, so it is very secure. The crystals are plastic, I may replace them later, but for the price it is very attracive and definitely Shabby Chic.

This is a cute candle chandelier that holds 3 candles. I used battery LED tea lights but it will hold either tea lights or votive. It may even hold taper candles if you find a way to make it stand upright by placing hot glue or something in the bottom of the glass candle holder. The finish is a rustic or weathered antique white that shows gold tones throughout. Everything was in great condition and even came with a 9 1/2" chain & 4" hook in the same finish that lets it hang at a perfect height. This added a little vintage touch in my college age daughter's bedroom & looks great with shabby chic or sophisticated chic styles. We love it!

I bought this and painted it silver with glitter for an art project I did in college. It was a great value for the quality. On the small side but would work well in a small room.
