5.0 out of 5 stars a real glimpse into the netherworld we see everyday
Scott and Jackson are saying so much in this cd that it will take a few listens to really begin to feel the hopefulness that lies just below the immensely dark surface of the space we humans inhabit. Listen and also follow the words so helpful on the CD liner. I get chills each time I listen to Slip inside this Gateway. All of these songs are masterful,in lyric and melody and have a double meaning of some sort. Don't dismiss this one. Five stars

The bottomline is that if you want to delve into the Doleful Lions, I'd recommend their first 2 albums.
