The flawless instrumental musicianship and straight-forward vocals of Hot Rize power this well-produced collection of mostly early 20th-century pop/country standards. Upbeat lyrics and danceable rhythms show some of the strengths that carried a previous generation through the Great Depression, WWII and Korea. Pack up "Shades of the Past" for your next road trip, wait for an open stretch of road, dial in "Golden Rocket" and TAKE OFF!
