Sal, Eddie Costa and Phil Woods, swing hard, April 18, 2001

This CD has some great tracks. Main solist are Sal, Costa and Phil. Sal has a great guitar sound and the band sounds great. This is another example of the 50's guitar sound. Much of the interplay between Sal and Costa, is a preview of the recording's Tal Farlow and Costa did a few years later. This is not as great as those, but I was very happy to see this re-released. If you like the sounds of Tal, Sal, Raney, Barney, from the 50's, this is for you!
