1.0 out of 5 stars Edit fail April 30, 2011

Format:Kindle Edition
I love vampire romance but this book was so poorly written I just could not finish it. When the sappy main character's name gets changed from Melissa to Heather at line 1021, I was done. How does an editor miss that? Don't waste your money on this book.

Seriously....The main character drags the vampire character to see Eclipse in this book. The main character also spends the majority of her time crying in this series. I also began to wonder just what Mike (the love interest) was really seeing in a girl that's either crying on his shoulder or throwing things at him because something is always wrong and she just can't ever seem to handle any given situation...

Storyline drags. Story needs proofing. I've bought quite a few short novellas and 99 cent books for my kindle and so far this has been the only one that has made me think I've wasted a dollar.

1.0 out of 5 stars Disappointing. June 16, 2011

Since buying my kindle, Ive been more willing to buy lesser known titles. Not all are excellent, but they are at least entertaining. Except for this one. The author forgot to finish the book! Its not even a cliff hanger, it just stops. But that was just one of its problems. It was extremely redundant, and too many comparisons with the twilight series and just with the material. I dont need to hear the protagonist say the same thing over and over again. I get it, so once is enough. Also there is not enough material in the story to be even considered a book, It was more like a cliff notes version of a potentially, and i mean potentially good idea. This has gone out onto my do not loan list, cuz it will just embarrass me.

I will normally give any book a chance but this was very tough to even get into. I read a full chapter before I deleted it from my kindle. Not recommended

3.0 out of 5 stars Good read
Enjoyed the story. I'm a bit impatient with trilogies but I very much liked the story. I was a little disappointed that I didn't feel the chemistry between the two main characters.

It was a great read. It was full of suspense. I wanted Melissa and Michael to fall in love, but since he was a vampire, their love could never truly be.

2.0 out of 5 stars not too hot
I picked this book on a whim. Didn't expect too much from it, so wasn't suprised when it didn't deliver. Characters poorly developed, story line has too many holes

Despite a promising start, this story disappointed me. If the read is rather short, easy to absorb, it is also a little disjointed. But the coverage is beautiful ... Read more

2.0 out of 5 stars Only justed finished!
This book showed much promise at the start but slowed down about a third of the way in. Maybe it was just that the main female character got too clingy and whinny that spoilt it. Read more

More About the Author

I'm a single dad with three children all of them above the age of 18. I've been writing on and off for years, but I didn't start to actually write seriously until the summer of 2009. My air conditioner wasn't working to well on a very hot day, so i went out to a McDonald's to cool off. I brought an old story i had been playing around with to pass the time while I waited for things to cool. I cant remember if I completed a chapter or not, but it felt so calming to write that I came back the next day and did again, and so it went till Storytellers was done.
