This review is from: Shadow of Death (Mass Market Paperback)
This book won't blow you away, but for the most part, it is comfortable reading. The mystery is done in thriller format, where a story unfolds and the clues are explained in the end; it isn't much of a mystery, but it is inventive enough not to be tedious. The main strength of this book is the lead character, a Father Koesler, who's a nice traditional priest with whom most can identify. I enjoyed reading it but would like more of a mysterious and compelling tale to read another from this author.
