Poor Girl, Rich Man,
This review is from: Shadow of Desire (Mass Market Paperback)
Jinny is taking care of her great aunt and younger brother after her parents were killed in an accident. There is an older sister but she is an actress in London and really cares only for herself. Jinny gets a job with a place to live in the country. Max is the man renting the house that she works for and a rich play write. He gives Jinny a job as his typist and lets her slack off on the house work. Max is older I think in his 30's and Jinny is 18. They meet with violent circumstances and Jinny doesn't like him. There is a cousin of Max's,Jinny's sister and a landlady who help stir up the pot. I liked the book but I only gave it 4 stars because I think Jinny should have been older for the experienced Max.
