A really cool story! Like an old Gangster movie set in a modern day. The story was easy to follow and exciting.

This story certainly was not a literary masterpiece. The style was a little loose and even sloppy at times. However, if you wanted only to be entertained with the concept of the mob going after the terrorists, well, then this was enjoyable. In fact I thought the premise was very interesting.
Unfortunately, I feel the writer could have spent more time in researching the world of the sniper a little more thoroughly. For example, all the distances of the shots were given in feet. Snipers almost always think in meters. The reference to a "ghia" suit was simply wrong. All of my research, including conversations with actual snipers from the Vietnam era and reference material for the modern sniper reference the "ghillie" suit...not "ghia." In addition, it would have been more interesting if some of the technical aspects of the sniper weapons, including the long range .50cal Barrett and the amo would have been addressed. This also includes the capabilities of the sniper and spotters scopes. In addition, the ending was wrapped up with a bow sort of quickly. It was a little anti-climatic to me. Nevertheless, I did enjoy the book. It was easy to read and somehow very satisfying, even with its shortcomings.

A wonderful story taking a different approach to the effects of 9/11, and how it was dealt with. Rather than sit back and complain about what happened on that eventful day, a plan was set to take out a terrorist cell. Neat idea and easy flowing writing. Makes for a good, sunny afternoon read.

Justice is sometimes a hail of bullets...,

In a world where justice can be hard to come by, sometimes you have to make your own. Reminds me a bit of The Rocketeer, with the FBI agents and Mafia guys fighting the Nazis side-by-side. Maybe more people with the financial means to do so should take note of this story! I want to see the movie. A classic tale of good old-fashioned American payback.
